They are provided all types of services especially in places like California, homes, food, work opportunities, cloths you fucking name it. They just go in like once a week to get a decent nights sleep and then they fucking bounce after stuffing their pockets with cupcakes.
To real homeless you just gave them table and chairs. Real homeless will build fires and heat the stones during the day to make a natural heater for the night.

It is NOT easy.There's SO many concerns, like liability and insurance concerns, as well as the need for so much safety and vigilance that free housing, even if it's something like emergency housing? It's a mess.
I had a friend who inherited a fortune, and wanted to establish like a halfway home/emergency home for needy/homeless people, and after speaking to a few specialists and attorneys, he would have so much liability and problems that his money would run out pretty fucking fast.

A better idea would be to have poor people communities in cheaper areas where plots of land are cheap, then have farms there where they can farm and feed themselves. My family has a plot of land with chickens and we make TOO much food with minimal work.

This is actually totally true. My uncle was homeless. My aunts and other uncles all offered to let him live with them, shit like that and he turned them down. He had homeless friends they basically just kicked it all day doing nothing, drinking, doing drugs, panhandling. I'm not going to say he LIKED being homeless, but he liked it better than the alternative - which was getting a fucking job and working 40 hours a week.
After hearing that shit about my uncle I've never given a dime to a homeless person or any kind of charity that serves homeless. Fuck them.
