You're in the wrong thread idiot. I disagree with 99% of the posters here, but I've been shitposting long enough to know that /sg/ isn't really alt right. They definitely don't like US military policy and they hate ISIS.

Andrew Davis
Oh yeah and get ready to see some pictures from this thread. You're going to be exposed ;)
Jaxon Butler
O shit it is bait.
Well I guess I'm not shitposting here tonight. Might was well ask a serious question.
How do you all feel about a free/independent Kurdistan?
Logan James
Post the article now then in whatever state you have it. It would automatically be better than 99% of the trash you publish lmao
Andrew Flores
Neat You're a fag tho
Landon Hill
>How do you all feel about a free/independent Kurdistan?
Jayden Campbell
Doesn't buzzfeed have an opinion section where anyone can write in it and feel like a journalist?

The Dream. Ruled by Emperor Bashar of the Assad Dynasty. Although why is Cyprus in this?
Aiden Jenkins
...
Gabriel Turner
Why tho? My (admittedly limited) understanding is that the Kurds held off ISIS without help from the central Iraqi government and the majority of them want to be independent. As long as they don't try to take land from Turkey what's the issue?
Noah Thomas
>when even buzzfeed won't vet or endorse your stories
Jayden Bailey
lol that's not me...
Justin Gray
Haven't been here since last Christmas when uncle Assad took Aleppo. What has happened since, and what is the white area in the map?
Michael Myers
Wew.
Josiah Lewis
>As long as they don't try to take land from Turkey what's the issue? They're taking land from iraq and syria, also they have had help from israel and america for at least 3 years+ now. It would only further serve to destabilize the region. by angering literally everyone but the gulf states and israel

>t-that's not me g-guys

Fair enough. Also is it true that the majority of Syrians always supported Assad and the rebels were always a minority? I've found a lot of conflicting views here. The media here in the US portrays Assad as a brutal dictator and the rebels as saints.
Caleb Robinson
Sure thing. We really trust you, dude.
James Carter
What a fucking joke lmao I'm not even going to give you a (you)
Josiah James
>The media here in the US portrays Assad as a brutal dictator and the rebels as saints. Before 2011 syria was one of the best non gulf states in the mideast, barring israel of course. It was secular, had decent social liberties and was OK economically until assad put through some ill planned reforms. The revolution and rebels are nothing more than a idea concocted and put to action by the US state department.
Sebastian Perez
Nigger, prove it by posting pro-assad article, or you gay.
Robert Reed
The majority of Shiites supported him. Most Sunnies were backwards tribals too busy fucking their sisters or goats to care. Only the (((Kurds))) consistently opposed him.
Kayden Carter
Rebels are a majority of the Sunni Arabs, but not necessarily an overall majority. It'd probably end up with a plurality between Assad, Kurds and Rebels, with Assad's base support coming from minorities.
Juan Murphy
>Al-Qaeda militants in west Damascus refuse to surrender Israeli agent allies to Syrian Army
Mashallah Muslim sunnis protecting their Jewish cousins
Jordan Ortiz
>revolution a coup, nigass
Carson Morales
Take a guess why the government was able to hold on the almost all population centers and rebels only took over the countryside.
John Taylor
I'll be adding this little episode to my article and if you keep it up you may face legal opposition.
Jackson Baker
Huh, and I guess we lost control over the splinter groups and what not. What did we even stand to gain from regime change in Syria? Do they not trade using the dollar or something?
Asher Ward
> Rebels are a majority of the Sunni Arabs Are you retarded or just pretending? Rebels and IS supporters both are less than 5% of syrian Sunni population.
John Cruz
Ask not what your country can gain but what your country can do for Israel.
Nathan Foster
Russia and especially Iran would have lost an ally in the region, that's about it.
Gabriel Turner
We're not suppoused to blow cover but I've been on this site all day and become so fucking enraged
can't wait to expose you fragile poor boys
Brody Jackson
Assad is an Alawite, which is a syncretic religion, meaning a mix of Shia Islam, Christianity and Paganism. This religion is much more suited towards the modern world (alcohol is allowed, women don't have to cover up, people can eat pork, basically it's just like a regular religion). This pisses off a lot of the more conservative Sunnis so they rebelled to try to create a theocratic state, and likely kill/displace the Christians and Alawites in the country. So Christians and Alawites overwhelmingly support Assad. Sunni Arabs are more mixed. The more conservative ones support the rebels, the less conservative ones support the government.
Michael Murphy
>What did we even stand to gain from regime change in Syria They were allied closer to russia and iran over the USA and israel, and have been known to support/arm hezbollah in the past. The "muh pipeline" narrative is mostly a meme. THe US succeeded so far in the fact that syria is destabilized and weakened compared to its pre 2011 state
William Myers
What does Israel gain then? Syria wasn't really a military threat, and I doubt Israel would annex a large portion of Syria. Are they just salty over the 6 day war still?
Luke Gomez
>baiter still going despite bait getting worse every time
David Long
>The media here in the US portrays Assad as a brutal dictator and the rebels as saints. Well case closed then huh? what more do you need to know? DOWN WITH BABYKILLER!!! PRAISE ISRAEL!! You do love Israel? ...Don't you?
user are you trying to tell me that rebels are suburban and rural retards? And that Assad won the popular vote?
Jaxson Cook
Can you include my humble little meme thanks
Levi Brown
Maybe not a majority, but you are kidding yourself if you think only 5% of Syrian Sunni Arabs support Islamists
Jacob Hall
Poorly phrased but if he said the vast majority of rebels and ISIS supporters are Sunni Arabs then it would be correct.
