Bakuon!!

Now that trendfags moved on to other "waifus", can we agree this anime was pure garbage?

It was garbage all right, but the girls were great. Wish it were gayer though, and less of a motorcycle ad, and more of a homosexuality ad.

Why would I agree that a good series was garbage?

i liked it. too bad the art couldn't keep up

>waifus
What does that even mean. Bakuon was great. Better than the bicycle related anime that appeared after that.

>the girls were great
This is all that matters in anime.

Of course. It was not made by Kyoani from the very beginning.

Nah, anime can have great girls and be shit, Bakuon just had barely enough comedy for the great girls to shine a bit. Take daga shikashi for example. The girls were great, but it was so incredibly shitty that I had to drop it after a few episodes.

Which one? Long riders was fun, but minami bike club was boring. Then there's yowamushi, which beats them all.

Nobaiku detected. Kys yourself.

>have V-Strom
>have DR650
>have two cars
>have a truck
>want to add a Katana and a XT225/250 to collection
I should not have watched parts of this.

Minami Kamakura is shit too, Long Riders has been the only good cycling / biking anime we've had.

Yowamushi is better than all of them. But long riders was enjoyable.

>show about motorcycles
>onlly garbage chinese scooters
>not a single bimota, augusta or ducati
Yep, twas shit.

Are you crying because you felt excluded?
It's a comedy based on group rides and the motorbike industry as a whole. Right down to character personality, bakuon features topical commentary on the commercial philosophy behind each manufacturer, crossed with arching themes about what the hobby means to the author personally.

"Pure garbage" is a shit summary. What is your specific gripe? Maybe we can explain why it's ignored, or correct misconceptions based on ideas you missed.

>I don't even waifu, y'all's analysis is just shallow pisswater.

There were ducati's. They were just made fun of every time they were on screen.

>Yowamushi is better than all of them
Even faggots can't fap to this shitty character design.

If you just want fap bait, then yes you should avoid it. But as a series, it is better than the others.

Did you watch the show? Ducatis are shit compared to superior Nippon bikes.

Not op, but the main problem was the adaptation. The jokes with the Ducati killing themselves for example, in the manga what happened was clear, in the anime it's barely explained and comprehensible (the "fear" felt by the others Ducati, why they are falling). When the source material is a comedy 4-koma with very oriented jokes, cutting part of jokes and there's explanation for those who don't know anything about motorcycle.
Also when the Ducati broke, in the Manga rich-girl didn't saw the replacement, in the anime she's watching it and don't realize what's happening. It just makes her look like a full retard.

Best part of the anime was everything about how you feel on your bike (Hane's first ride, Hane's first ride with HER bike, Frizzy when she go higher than 7k rpm).

Well I still like it, but I'm waiting way more for the scans. And the oav.

I like Frizzy

>Liking happy merchants

Best girl.

>Sill no /ss/ doujinshi

>not a single ducati
confirmed for didn't watch the show
>twas
what the fuck is wrong with you you fucking autist

Well fuck you too faggot

The manga was better and I am not a trendfag or moved a single inch

Rin is still my waife.

It was fun and miles better than than those two bicycle borefests that came out after.

You take that back right fucking now, Long Riders was way better than this motorbike trash.

Which one would you ride the longest?

>shit production values
>boring characters
>zero comedy
>boring world with zero over-the-top stuff like Bakuon
>takes itself more seriously instead of just being fun like Bakuon
>better
"no"

Long riders and minami. Both are about the bike club but the execution in bakuon was better.

Is long riders over?
IMO not as good (especially fun) as Bakuon but nice enough.

It's over, the final 2 episodes aired after ~2 month hiatus.

...

Long Riders is fantastic. Good taste.

My wife Saki

>shit production values
It's part of its charm, visit any LR thread not like we have any nowadays, but there are a few LRfags in Minami threads if you don't believe me.
>boring characters
Subjective, but I'll admit they were more of a walking character archetypes than the Bakuon girls.
>zero comedy
There was a lot of comedy. Whether or not that comedy managed to hit your taste is another question.
>boring world with zero over the top stuff
How is that a bad thing? I'm watching a CGDCT show so I just want to get comfy and watch girls ride bikes, I don't need an ""interesting world"" for that.
>takes itself more seriously
Yeah, how dare they show a beginner might actually struggle with a 160+ kilometer race. Preposterous.

>shit production values
This I'll give you
>boring characters
Long Riders! had some of the best characters of the entire year, what are you talking about?
>zero comedy
Totally not true.
>boring world with zero over-the-top stuff like Bakuon
Also not true.
>takes itself more seriously instead of just being fun like Bakuon
Did you even watch the show?
>better
Yes, it is better.

My wife Hinako, obviously.

>Long Riders! had some of the best characters of the entire year, what are you talking about?
Long Shitters actually believe this?
They're as generic as it gets, there's a reason this show didn't get attention anywhere, not even here.

I 100% believe it. In particular Hinako and Saki I'd probably put among my favorite characters ever.

And what's so great about them?

For Hinako, she's flat, has a fang, has an amazing voice, and a great personality. For Saki, she's just an angel, the kind of perfection that's indescribable.

>Yeah, how dare they show a beginner might actually struggle with a 160+ kilometer race.
It fails at a that. They want me to believe that a college girl doesn't know the basic stuff any elementary school kid would figure out.
>uhm guys I didn't eat, is that why I feel tired????
Great writing right here.

>generic cheeky, petite blond girl number 8741

You do realize Bakuon girls weren't exactly original in their designs and personalities, right?

Impressive, such a great characterisation truly puts them among the best characters of the last year.

I never said it.

This scene was retarded, true. Still, that's just one scene out of 12 episode show. That's hardly enough to call the writing shit. It's not like Bakuon was written by Shakespeare either.

>there's a reason this show didn't get attention anywhere, not even here.
I'll h-have you know we averaged a-around 30 IPs per thread, and w-we even sometimes managed to h-hit bump limit after 30+ hours. That's l-lively enough, r-right?

>petite
She's the tallest and a rack like that does not petite make.

I own two Suzukis but I like Ontario the best. She's makin' it and can wrench.

>Ontario
Fffffuuuuu

Isn't it fucking great though?

...

Wrong pick in both shows. How can one live with such a shit taste?

>every show with no male MCs should be gay

This scene shows that author has not intentions to write a good newbie character and just settles for a cheap total retard trope, basically what writers with no creativity use to artificially add a dramatic or emotional connection to otherwise mundane and pointless events and settings What's even the point of making her a college girl?

Do you really think viewers felt a "dramatic or emotional connection" to a character that's too retarded to eat before going out to exercise? I doubt it.
Also, if you want to see actually retarded newbie character, watch first episode of Minami Kamakura. MC is too retarded to realize you need to pedal in order for the bike to move forward.
>What's even the point of making her a college girl?
No idea. Perhaps it is so that he can feel slightly better about himself when drawing fanservice panels. Or it's so he can establish a few characters that already experienced enough to lead the newbie MC. It's more believable to see a experienced (as in, able to pull 200-300 km rides without a sweat) rider in college, rather than in high school.

Nope

3x correct. I'm impressed.
