Tfw post-anime depression doesn't happen anymore

>tfw post-anime depression doesn't happen anymore

means you stopped caring as much
apathy is worse than feeling

>tfw watching anime gives you actual depression

>tfw nothing gets you're loli pussy wet anymore

I think it's just because I've watched too many anime

Maybe you should watch things you want to, instead of watching the "recommendations" you get from weeboos without taste even if you don't really like it, only to say to watched it.

not op here but it seems like theres nothing new that will grab me anymore. Ive run out of stuff to watch/read. I started liking anime in middle school so its been like 7 years

I've watched a lot of good anime during the past few months but they still didn't do much to me.
I remember a few years ago when I watched NGE or Texhnolyze for the first time and was depressed for a week afterwards. Back then even shitty series left me wanting more and I waited a few days before starting another anime, now I can just move on from one series to another immediately.

>instead of watching the "recommendations" you get from weeboos without taste even if you don't really like it, only to say to watched it.

I'm doing this right now, and I can't wait to be finished with all the "classics" so I can finally just watch the shit that I want.

I just get super excited and want to talk about the show with people only to notice i have no friends and Sup Forums doesn't talk about anything but airing series.

What classics are you talking about?

Why would you watch classics if you don't enjoy it?

Sounds like you're projecting.

>only to say to watched it.
It means, only to be able to say you watched them.

Sounds like you do it.
I watch recommendations, but only if I like them.
Did it hit to close to home?

Let's talk about it user.

This. Thanks god I already watched all that stuff from Sup Forums wiki charts and now I only watch airing shit.

I used to think I'd never end up rewatching anyway, even my favorites but nowadays that's all I do outside of seasonals, otherwise I feel like I'll just be watching those older, mediocre shows just for the sake of watching them. I think it's pretty understandable when you start getting near the 400 TV series.

>can finally start watching airing series in the summer again because no longer have to be paranoid about using torrents on university dorm internet

The long nightmare is over, and freedom awaits.

>>tfw post-anime depression doesn't happen anymore
>tfw it's because you're constantly depressed anyway
Murder me

Non-worksafe requests go on .
But I suggest you just visit and stop being a useless leech.

Don't worry, I'm self-reliant.

>lostallhope.com
thanks. been looking for something like this

Some people might be concerned over a post like this.

>you now watch 1, maybe 2, anime per season
feels comfy

>tfw fapped so much to 2D can't get hard anymore.
Ecchis don't do shit. I need something more.

...

Start fapping to 1D.

I also recommend "Suicide and Attempted Suicide" by Geo Stone.

Spread your horizons to or if that doesn't work try different genres in 3D

Just try waiting a few days.

this

I can't stand it... I discover so much anime that I really enjoy but almost nobody has watched let alone wants to talk about.

And it gets much more difficult when an anime is not particularly good but has certain elements that I liked. I don't even know if any of my friends watch anime. I guess some do but they have normie taste.

Life is suffering.

;_;

Last time I felt that was after Steins;Gate. They dont make em like they used to

No, no one would be concerned.

Have you tried actually making a thread about it and crafting a decent OP that would encourage discussion and not just shitposts?

Yes I have. I often do such threads. And sometimes they even hit the bump limit when the series is popular, such as Saki or Nanoha. But when you make a thread about something less known even when I try my best to keep the thread alive it usually dies quickly.

What I plan to do next is make a thread about characters I like. I will just dump maybe 30-50 and hope that encourages some discussion about less recent and not so popular anime.

Kinda tough to "just watch something" without recommendations considering how much stuff is out there. The approach to watch shows of studios whose works you enjoyed is incredibly time consuming, so it shouldnt come as a surprise that most people prefer recommendations over trying out stuff themselves. If many people liked it that means that the PROBABILITY for it being good is higher.

I use MAL for recs. Recently I have been on a roll and the last ~10 anime I gave a try that way I all enjoyed a lot. And usually I drop or avoid the large majority of anime. So no matter the memes, MAL for recs actually works when you know how to do it.

I dont see much of a problem in using MAL either. I mean, I simply use it to organize the stuff I already watched and give it ratings accordingly so that I know which I liked and would consider the rewatch etc, although my score deviation from the average rating on that website is like -2.6. Its a decent database to search for stuff, although I can honestly say that the reviews, the community, the ratings and anything that is to the people browsing it is completely fucking worthless, but honestly thats to be expected considering how common it is for people to rate something they liked with a 10 and something they disliked with a 0-1. As long as a show has less than 50k votes I feel like its rating might even be somewhat accurate, at least more often than as soon as it has more.

I have no issues. For example when I look at reviews I search for short, no bs ones with the lowest ratings. You see what people don't like about it and they are more honest. When you combine that with a judgement of the reviewer you can quickly tell whether you potentially like something.

Same with recs. Check the recs of an anime you like and when someone gets to the point about what you liked the most about the anime it is probably a good rec.

Then when you find the rare person with similar taste to you, check his list.

But sometimes you can just tell from first glance that you will enjoy an anime. So I have my eyes open on that as well. Some of my favorites I have discovered through a pic on Sup Forums or some other random encounter on the internet.

>watch angel beats because friends reccomend it like "lol man disregard the name, show it goooood"
>report back after finished saying "yeah man it was pretty good"
>"did you cry user?"
>"uh, no, not really"
>"wtf"
I ended up feeling more like shit after watching because I didn't feel like shit after the ending.

You're supposed to just jump in watching airing anime.

>When I have torrents going 24/7 on dorm internet and they don't give a shit
>It's fucking fast too, 14 megabytes per second down on wireless
Used to be paranoid about that too so I would go to Starbucks and wait at least two hours for everything to download.

That means you're depressed 24/7 now. Congrats. But really, you can't say that with such one-time only thing. If you haven't got nothing to do, whenever you finish a serie, there's 70% you gotta to feel something. Maybe a headache after watching garbage.

Doubtfully. Sup Forums shitter-range at best, kiddo.
