Name names and point to historical examples of Left-Wing Governments enacting such policies. From my own research, I cannot name many. Marxist-Leninist states like USSR, Cuba and East Germany did not allow mass immigration. On top of that, not many Socialist thinkers have advocated such a policy.
Most Left-Wingers will push for a Worker's State, which entails a direct lowering of immigration in order to protect domestic Worker's Rights. The reason immigration lowers because the stream of low-income workers lowers, as these workers are largely being used to reduce Labour Costs.
In contrast, Centrist and Right-Wing Governments have lots of immigration as this works to the interest of employers, which works well for these Parties as it entails a perpetuation of the Status Quo. It also means they and their friends get richer.
