Considering one piece barely has any, and the competition is naruto, I would agree.

>whole pages of white
N-no thanks. I already have plenty of blank papers.

>muh minimalism

Also best fashion sense.

You should've said character design.
Bleach's composition is shit

Kishimoto is an objectively better illustrator than Kubo.

Let's not get carried away

If you consider white as a form of composition, then mobile webtoons have just as good composition as Bleach.

Bleach is only good for asspulls and fashion.

...

Nice.

and saved... it's all about the little things.

Hilarious, let me show you how it's done.
trolling aside Unohana vs Kenpachi was one of the most beautifully done fights of that shitty arc

Kubo is the most talented if the three, it's a shame Shonen Jump destroyed his soul.

Kishimoto is actually a decent competition art-wise.

>dude perspective LMAO

Minimalistic or no backgrounds is better than shitty and overdone backgrounds.

Oda at his best can't beat Kubo at medium when it comes to generating impact and atmosphere.

For detail Oda wins hands down and plot but often the panels are too busy.

One Piece generates impact from the plot itself and what's going on in the manga, while I agree Kubo can generate it by focusing on one point in his art with little words, but he overdoes that.

Togashi has the perfect balance in when to show detail, and when to be minimalist to show the impact of a moment.

I still remember that two page spread in Yu Yu Hakusho that was nothing more that ink splatter when Genkai got killed by Toguro

Saved

Eh, I think Oda has his moments.

Another good one.

Hmm, I would say they are on par in terms of technical skill.

I think Kishimoto is better at backgrounds (lol). While Kubo is better at designing characters. I really hope Kubo doesn't completely vanish from the manga scene. I would love to see him design more characters.

When Kubo is at his best I definitely agree. One of the biggest selling points of Bleach at its start was the art.

I think One Piece is generally a lot more consistent, even if it does have problems these days with busy panels. Towards the latter parts of the series Kubo was nowhere near as strong as he was at the start, with a total lack of backgrounds and less dynamic compositions. His art never became incompetent, he's still good at a technical level, but it got boring to look at.

I'd definitely consider Kishimoto is the worst illustrator out of the Big 3, but he does have his moments.

nailed it

where are the backgrounds

>needs background to make good art

4th rate artist please get out.

OP style is too cartooney to have artistic composition.

>In the visual arts, composition is the placement or arrangement of visual elements or ingredients in a work of art, as distinct from the subject. It can also be thought of as the organization of the elements of art according to the principles of art.

naruto is absolutely great in terms of perspective, but bleach fits more in my tastes.

Have Kubo team up with a decent writer and we could have a pretty damn good manga

kubo please

Kubo is a good artist but he didn't seem motivated for most of Bleach's run. He's one of the better artists to have been serialised by Jump, but it's a real shame it had to be Bleach and not something else.

Every character is a lanky, noodly fucking thing.
His "dramatic moment" pictures like the one you posted is always 90% white with a character or two doing a dramatic pose and a shitty one liner or a shocked facial expression as a person appears from behind them.

The only way you can say Kubo is good at anything except designing clothes is if you've never read many manga before.

Kubo is a good artist whether you'd like to admit that or not

>character design/fashion
oda < kishi < kubo

>backgrounds/scenery
kubo < oda < kubo when he tries to give a fuck < kishi

>abilities and power ideas
kubo < kishi < oda < kishi with the guidance of his first editor

>overall story
kubo < kishi < oda < kishi when he's writing for characters like shikamaru

kubo's biggest problem is focus. he is an incredible artist but needs a yin partner to his yang to best actualize his concepts.

I honestly could see him and Togashi doing something interesting

I'm sorry but I just can't admit that. I hate his art.
Even one piece is better, at least the characters have personality in that.
Naruto is better even though every face is the exact same because there's some modicum of effort put into the backgrounds and detailing each person's body and clothing.

Bleach is just flat. All the time. Just so fucking flat.

>Every character is a lanky, noodly fucking thing.
>posts a lanky noodly thing

Wew.

>muh backgrounds

Every time, I guess this is shit art too since it has no backgrounds.

No, that art is great because it has actual detail in everything it's showing.
For kubo he just fucking blows a beta load all over the page and thinks blotches of black and white are better than good line detail.
Sadly you must think that too.

It's raining.

The only redeeming quality about Bleach post-Soul Society Arc is the art and character design. Kubo should just become a character designer for an anime studio. Or just stick to drawing.

...

These are both good examples. Oda does do good landscapes.

I don't remember a single good looking spread from Bleach, plenty from One Piece and Naruto but none from Bleach

This would be the point where I throw artistic buzzwords like
>weight and balance

I speedread the last like 150 chapters just for the art desu

>of the Big Three
Who the fuck cares? Seriously, niggers, you aren't 13 anymore.

>you aren't 13 anymore.
What does that even mean?
Because someone isn't a certain age you cannot discuss things?
Do you go around every thread in Sup Forums about shows for younger audiences saying the same?

There are plenty of works for younger audiences that are actually good. The Big Three are fucking not. Arguing which of the three most popular pieces of shit in the West in the 00s is the best at X is just dumb.

So you go around threads about stuff YOU don't like to tell people to stop talking about them
Got it

Go make your own thread about something else then buckaroo

>If you consider white as a form of composition
If you don't consider negative space as a form of composition, you're dumb. Kubo just doesn't use 70% of basically any page, that's different.

>s.jpg
Good job.

Agreed. He was quite sparing with negative space use, then got lazy. The setpieces and backgrounds in the original arc were good.

Thanks

>Look at the white canvas, so artistic and deep.
>Kubo: I don't even care anymore

That looks like shit, Kubo sucks at designing buildings and cities. His mexico world was just a white desert with two or three buildings with absolutely no detail.

>it's only bad when kubo does it

Fuck off.

but this is literally the best panel in naruto, we never saw again a city like that.
the final fight happened in the midle of the dessert because powelevels went to shit

I've always liked Kubo's art the best.

Kishi's is way too stiff for me. I don't know how to explain it well.

Oda's is too cartoonish and always packs a ton of shit into one panel.
