The people responsible for YS OP/ED's are really overqualified. They have good understanding of editing the pictures to the music and the lyrics tell the story of war from different perspectives.

I wonder about detailed military and international laws in Tanya's world. Their development has been the result of World Wars, so all this chatter about legalization of combats sounds stupid, because nobody gives a fuck about the law in their times

I imagine a few treaties would have been set up by their time, the Empire was stuck in a tense military situation for quite a while before all out war broke out, perhaps with the constant looming threat of major war treaties were set up?

They have superior technology in Tanya's battalion case they also have superior training. So most of the time their opponents shields are not that big of a problem because they either can overpower them or switch to piercing spells fast enough.

Anson is one of the few people they meet who could fight on their level and probably could have messed a couple of Tanya's subordinates if she didn't took care of him.
