I've been looking into it, and it sounds like Stalin was an unstable pos, but Lenin seemed like a well liked and good leader.

So, what was so bad about him and communism/socialism?

Lenin fought other socialists(the white army), purged his opponents, and invented the gulags.

>what was so bad
Let me show you

Many people on this board seem to forget a quote made by him, that distills itself into modern times too hard.

"The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves"

I've been looking into it, and it sounds like eating shit is bad, but anal sex with men seems fun and pleasurable.

So, what is so bad about being a cum drinking faggot?

>Stalin Unstable

Straight to the gulag you Trotskyite scum

>unstable
>won the biggest conflict in the world's history
>successfully managed one of the greatest superpowers of the 20th century

>what is the Great Purge

that's a load of bullcrap. nobody was executed in 1980s Poland for having a family member emigrate.

But this is where I struggle. Marx is right about the errors of capitalism and the world post-industrial revolution.

Capitalism as an economic system, unfettered capitalism, causes a lot of shit, and seemingly as bad as people claim communism is.

There is still hunger, homelessness, and prisons are overpopulated. Is life in a communist state really worse than being an underpaid, overworked employee at Wal Mart? In capitalism, that employee at Wal Mart has a very low chance that their hard work will lead to a living wage compared to how many people are entry level employees and how many people are managers. And then those people will seek welfare benefits, which come from taxes, which are actually a result of the wealthy business owners not wanting to pay fair wages.

It just seems like this cyclical problem where neither are good, but communism seems more fair economically, albeit not materialistically.

Agreed, there are problems with both sides(though communism is much, much worse).
There needs to be a synthesis between the two, a kind of third position.

I didn't know that in capitalism there were black markets of bread & eggs, and walls being built so the people wouldn't escape into communist countries.
I guess both are "equally bad"

>what is amerilard propaganda

Stalin simply carried out Lenin's teachings to their logical conclusion. As did Mao, albeit using different means.

Stalin purged the Jews lenin let them take control.
>Thinking.jpg

Oh stalin he thought he can kill, kill and kill and forever feel the wind beneath his wings!

He experienced his worst nighmares come to be, oh how many a times did he stand by a wall in his woods mantion and fear, panic in his retched heart, his ege brought down and barried in fear of being killed. He feared death and had no peace, especialy towards the end, he did not sleep and went hungry he became his worst enemy and he deserved it too.

>A couple of lost sleep in exchange for advancing humanity to the space age.

He did fine.

>Class is inevitable
Not understanding that merit ability differences are valid and that Chad loser E-Grade Brad does NOT deserve in a functioning society to simply inherit privalege or access to become a CEO and shit on hard-working straight A-student Keith from a Trailer park who's not given at least a fighting chance at showing his ability.

...

It's all about balance.

Capital can move freely but has to be held to account so everyone knows and plays by the same rules like in any BASED sporting competition.

Certain things are too important to society to leave to muh market and monopolies and mergers have to be prevented in key areas.

...

There actually is. See, this is the other thing which has me so torn. I grew up in abject poverty, so I think I've seen a side of capitalism that not many people have. For example, if a poor person sells their food stamps to have money for Christmas presents for their children, is that not capitalism failing? The business owner in their mansion has no financial struggle, while the poor person has to do whatever they can to make ends meet. And this isn't just extreme poverty. The middle class struggle as well. Capitalism only benefits the people at the absolute top of the hierarchy.

Capitalism and communism are two sides to the same coin. But I feel like communism is more fair. But then again, gulags and bread lines and not being able to build things does seem like a mundane existence.

This is how I feel, and why I'm so torn. Capitalism promises that with hard work you can climb the social ladder, but the banks and business owners have found a way to keep the haves in control and the have nots in the poor house.

Who's that chick?

Don't be torn; Hitler understood this well and had a fusion of the two in one sense.

Capital and capitalism is fine as long as Capital is not worshiped as some God in of itself; and kept in check by a functioning state and intelligent electorate. Capital should serve us as a society in bartering, trade and freedom - It should not be their as the ultimate goal.

Crony capitalism and corruption is as degenerate as moral corruption. Ethics my dear user. Ethics are key.
The shilling of "muh freedom above all else" is usually corporations wanting the freedom to literally shit on your face and make you pay for the privilege of them not shitting on your face.

It is possible to have BASED balance between social good and capitalism but it is not in current capital cronies interests to have themselves regulated properly and to be prevented from regulatory capture of the democratic and legislative process.

Power in all forms is seductively corrupting.
