For example, a brain surgeon who hires an immigrant to clean his house, cook his food, clean his clothes and get his clothes ready for the morning so that the brain surgeon can do more brain surgery has the same effect as if a brain surgeon were to immigrate. We did not need another brain surgeon to increase the productivity of the brain surgeon we already had. All the Brain surgeon had to do was outsource chores he would normally do himself to somebody who can do them more efficiently.
