At my uni almost everybody in CS watches anime, and especially with Asians it's definitely not looked down upon. I know plenty of people who watch anime, have dakis, posters, figures, have folders full of ecchi and reaction pics, and they have a girlfriend who does the same thing. The difference is they aren't autistic like so many people who complain here, they have a hobby and they have social relationships.
