Why isn't he more talked about? The man's life was incredible. He was old enough to have witnessed the Boxer Rebellion firsthand, while operating large scale industrial mining firms in Tsarist Russia, which afterwards he would go on to espouse the superiority of that system to the scourge of Communism. Communism, which forced him to essentially, singlehandedly and quite literally, save Europe twice, neither time while in elected office. He even did the only existing useful translation of the oldest and most important metallurgical textbook from the 17th century. In between all of that, he founded the Boys Club of America, which he did because he so deeply loved this country and felt it important for men of character to mentor and pass down their wisdom to young men while they were still in youth.to the next generations. In addition to all he did as President.
If there is one thing that Sup Forums should hate FDR for, far more than fighting Nazis, is preventing this country from a second Hoover administration. Intelligent people understand what that means.
Basically,
>Why the fuck doesn't Sup Forums ever talk about the only other modern President who approached Trump-like levels of /ourguy/ qualities?
We're lucky this interview and recording was made. It's an hour long sit down with Hoover not long before he passed away, still at the height of his redpilled brilliance
Landon Gonzalez
all amerisharts know about hoover is the same paragraph in the history textbook from 3rd through 12th grade saying he ruined the economy and the word / meme Hoover Town bolded meaning this term was going to be on the test.
followed by another paragraph about how FDR got america out of the great depression with his wonderful New Deal also bolded so you knew it was going to be on the test.
then you fill in the correct multiple choice bubble on the fake history test for your cat lady or jewish teacher
Carson Turner
Sad but true user, without self motivation I could probably have gone through my entire life never knowing what an incredible patriot he truly was
Top 5 modern POTUS Trump--Hoover---------------Truman--Nixon----Reagan
Jose Richardson
Hoover actually was the guy who started the New Deal anyway. Raising taxes and putting up tariff barriers in the middle of a depression was absolutely braindead.
Sebastian Flores
Makes me sad...This was another America user. A better America. Certain (((individuals))) among us betrayed our trust and rotted our nation from within like termites. Hoping 2018 is a good year. Merry Christmas.

No Andrew Jackson? No JFK?

Reagan shouldn't be on that list at all

>JFK All he did was try to tell Isreal they couldn't have nukes. He was a fag pushing heavily for (((civil rights))) and wasn't our guy on any other issue.
Lincoln Ramirez
This. OP doesn't know what he's talking about. Points for creativity, pretty obscure thing to defend, but he deserves all the shit he gets. An adviser to Roosevelt said. >“When we all burst into Washington … we found every essential idea [of the New Deal] enacted in the 100-day Congress in the Hoover administration itself.”
Dylan Watson
His Presidency itself was absolutely solid, whatever you want to say about the New Deal it inarguably did beneficial things for the country in terms of large scale works projects, I don't think even you would deny that. It's a weasely sort of argument to trust an adviser to FDR's word as gospel about anything, because of the nightmares they unleashed on this country. Hoover had the country in 100% the right direction economically, and WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUGHT IN WORLD WAR II.
I think it will user, Merry Christmas to you too and spread the good word about Herbert Hoover when and where you can. We all need to take full scale public re-education far more seriously here unless we want to be combatting neo shill storms on whatever platforms will exist when we're all old geezers

HOOVER was GREAT!!!
But, i've been saying for MONTHS...that Calvin Coolidge was the Trump of his day.
Research Coolidge. Hoover was in Coolidge's Cabinet too.
You tell me...would you rather have a group of men like Coolidge's Cabinet running the country or would you rather have a mixed bag of women, minorities, jews, etc., like we have nowadays?
how i long for the days where WASP men were in charge of everything and rightfully so.
Brody Allen
The WWII thing I can get behind but that's about it. I absolutely would deny that his public works projects did loads more harm than good. On top of that he was pressuring to keep wages up, keep agricultural prices up, raising tariffs to new historic highs, terrible things. All terrible things. But even to a layman, even if you don't take the adviser's word as gospel, it's pretty clear he set the course for FDR. You're being super vague about the "right direction" we were set on. I can't imagine what you're referring to, considering he left the depression in a deeper spot than he found it. Especially if you say FDR was a nightmare, you don't have much ground to stand on.
Nathan King
But they screwed it up and lost it...? It's not like the present situation just dropped out of the sky, there was a long road of power-hungry money-grubbing white dudes who paved the way to our destruction. That includes the fucks in your picture.
David Fisher
you do know everything you just said is why he was elected president right? he was essentially a goddamn superhero, before kikes even came up with the concept.
The problem is that it doesn't matter how amazing you are at everything else, if you can't deal with whatever takes place during your administration.
look at W, back in 2001 his main goal was actually to try and help Latin America and Africa thrive. then 9/11 happened and he couldn't essentially save the mestizos from themselves so they wouldn't end up here.
apparently he was like the only guy in power that thought niggers could understand how to use condoms in africa, he like saved thousands from aids and pregnancy.
even socialist Matt Damon said that he loved W, because despite the middle east bullshit, W saved more in africa than he killed in the middle east.
Nathan Cook
>Hoover had a full total control of government when the depression hit, and he still couldn't pass all those magical ideas FDR did

Hoover wouldn't have been president for WWII either
Aiden Watson
>tariffs are terrible
Fuck off libertardian, your NAP is the only thing protecting you from the rightful purge your subhuman kind deserves for ransacking American trade with your "but muh free markets" faggotry that allowed corporations to outsource to chinkdom and erode American power.
Asher Powell
The US always had tariffs. Where do faggots like you come from that probably bitch about the income tax while simultaneously bitching about tariffs, which were the main source of income for the government prior to income taxes and the main reason we'll never go back to a pre-income tax era is because tariffs are mostly gone.
Fucking libertarian faggots need to be shot.
Chase Wilson
Hoover was the Trump of his day. I've been banging this drum since the RNC in the summer of 2016. We actually tracked down a black woman in Ohio who voted for Hoover over FDR in 1933 well election. History books have BTFO Hoover, which is sad because he may have been the first red-pilled POTUS since TR. Sadly his legacy has become Hoovervilles.
Elijah Richardson
Hoover caused the Great Depression
Mason Adams
Wow you really showed me. Doesn't change the fact that >Tariffs raised to historic high >Other countries reciprocate; full blown trade war >Depression immediately gets substantially worse Defend that, faggot. Try to quit talking like a middle schooler on the playground if you can.
Bentley Russell
(((They))) blame him erroneously for the crash. This unfair taint makes people uninterested in studying him.
Austin Davis
>look at W, back in 2001 his main goal was actually to try and help Latin America and Africa thrive
why should this be the goal of a US president?
Charles Perry
Pic related should be mandatory reading It's his excoriation of FDR and his observations of the outcomes from his first hand experiences after the war re-constructing food supply lines to prevent widespread famine across Europe They wouldn't let it be published for some 60 years. Lots of good lectures by the guy who finally got it out there, George Nash, that if people are really interested could watch to hear a true right wing academic (like a Victor Davis Hanson kind of guy) explain a lot of what's ITT
Noah Morales
>Why the fuck doesn't Sup Forums ever talk about the only other modern President who approached Trump-like levels of /ourguy/ qualities?
Because he got shat on by an unavoidable economic bubble. Coolidge didn't run for a second term because he knew that whoever got elected was going to get fucked because the government (particularly Congress) wasn't willing to take the steps necessary to avoid the depression.
Combine that with the fact that the historians glorify FDR as saving the country with his social programs (which did little to actually improve the economy) and Hoover gets to play the role of scapegoat.
Hoover was a great businessman and a great philanthropist. Its a pity he got elected when he did.
Alexander Perez
What about seeing it as another example of his patriotism? He of all men understood the economics of the era precisely and still went far out of his way to try to get elected. That's real bravery IMO

Interesting. When i did sixth form at a private secondary school, im class, we studied american history, from 1840 up to the civil rights movement. We had I had read from the recommended textbook in that hoover did not speed up the economic recovery while roosevelt did with his new deal.
Also on an interesting note, hoover because of his quaker up bringing did his best to improve the pathetic native americans living on the reservations.
As for roosevelt, my conclusion was that his new deal was a jew deal and it stank of socialism. There was also friction between him and the supreme court, if i can recall.
Isaac Perry
Warren Harding is the Trump equivalent. Pro-business, anti-immigrant scandal-ridden presidency.
