If one is to accept Jesus Christ as their savior, to repent of their sins genuinely and accept the ultimate forgiveness of their sins through Christ, and to do their best to live a wholesome Christian life, that they too may receive eternal life through Jesus Christ!

Well, first let me say that I respect all pious Christians, Catholics included, but on the same token, the Church that I go to (Orthodox) is mostly made up of converts (I'm a converted Fedora; but likely our largest group is former-catholics).
So, on that note - if I were going to minister to someone in another denomination, I would speak to them as best as I could out of Love for them, not condemnation or bitterness.

It is interesting, that the stereotype of "dumb Christians" is so prevelant. I remember this from my fedora-days around 09' or so, and I see regularly that it is still going. I know my Church has a library of hundreds, possibly thousands of books about Church History and Christianity as it relates to the world. We have many well studied people there, a large number that speak multiple languages and even some that study Latin.
Secular society for the most part has none of these things, one can attest to the volume of intellect there by turning on the TV or listening to modern pop music, yet we're the "dumb" ones.
That was a little bit of a rant, sorry to go down that road with you.
Anyway, there is no metaphor, its real. Its more real than the computer that I'm typing this on, or the building that I'm in right now. Around November 2016 I developed an interest in the faith, and ultimately accepted Jesus Christ into my heart, and repented of my sins one night. I was so free and felt so loved. My entire chest area was almost burning and I cried like an infant for about the first time in my adult life. It was amazing.
I ended a years long rift in my family. I got a wholesome new Church family. I'm happier than I've ever been. Its been amazing.

I'm aware of the decline of many Protestant churches, it is always sad to see people turning from God.
But I'm only aware of it through second and third hand reports - my church was packed full, as were the Christmas Eve services yesterday. We have large, young families and people from all sorts of other denominations who converted.

Went to church last night, before mass there is half an hour of carol singing, it had started when I got there. During the singing, the parish priest was walking around and singing the loudest, he touched me on my shoulder during the carol singing and acknowledged me. I felt like my presence was appreciated. The priest knows that I only become Catholic this year, and drifted for a months before coming back, and doing reconicilation too.

user, I feel terrible. I re-approached Christianity early in 2017, and did what I could to drain my old bitterness. I saw clearly how overcome with pride and baseness I had become, and I was ashamed. I began to change, and learn, and pray again. But over the summer, I just stopped it all and went back to my old ways. I remember feeling distinctly numb about it. user, from what I can see, it looks like you might be in need of a comrade to turn to in your fight against darkness. Do you have a church that you regularly attend? I'm lucky in that if I was to struggle with things, I could take whatever was causing me to fall short to my priest, and he would listen to me, and help me, offer encouraging words of scripture and support and quotes from the saints, or from various theologians, and provide good advice to help me through the situation.
I would recommend trying to find someone like this, or turning to them if you already have them. Perhaps a friend, a family member. If you dont have a priest or a pastor, any leader from any good church near you should in any case help you, and listen to you and not turn you away. Perhaps you email a local church and simply tell them that you're struggling with your faith and need some help, they will be there for you. We're all in this together, user.
Additionlly, I'd recommend prayer. Deep prayer, as deep and focused as you can. Repent of your sins, and turn from them. Ask Jesus to guide you and give you strenght, to help you through these things, and to show you the way to becoming a better Christian!
And lastly - whatever is causing you to stumble, get rid of it. For ridding youself of things which lead you to sin is what many believe Jesus spoke of in Matthew 5:30:
"If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell"

What keeps my motivated is to learn more Bible and understand more about God's word, to have a firm grasp of important doctrines, etc. So I listen to lots of sermons and read lots of Scripture. That keeps me motivated to stay in the faith. The power of God's word is amazing... so if you really ingrain yourself in Scripture and doctrine, that's gonna help a lot.
Remember when the Roman soldiers were about to go and arrest Jesus? Then they return with empty hands, and the Pharisees go, "HEY, WHY DIDN'T YOU BRING JESUS BACK?" Yes, and I've explained this a few times to struggling white nationalists. God is basically "pro-white" in the sense that he's "pro-every race" or "pro-every nation". Uhm, no, the Leviticus chapter has nothing to do with no marrying other tribes because they are worshiping false gods. Yes, there are many such other Scripture where this is explicitly laid out, such as when God talks about "separating the foreigners from among you", referring to the Moabites and the Ammonites who were worshiping Baalpheor and came from a line of incest.
The Leviticus command is a specific command to marry a virgin from your own people. I don't expect everyone to follow this command just like I don't expect people to follow other commands. I'm just telling you that God's ideal marriage is between a man and a virgin woman from the same nation. The Bible actually defines a nation as a "family". This command is completely separate from the command which tells us not to be unequally yoked together with heathens.
And yes, Moses absolutely sinned by marrying an Ethiopian. And he sinned by marrying a 2nd wife. Miriam and Aaron were punished because they tried to usurp Moses' authority among the Israelites and used his 2nd wife as a scapegoat. Even mainstream theologians will tell you this, and it's obvious from within the chapter itself that God's punishment on Miriam had nothing to do with who Moses chose to marry as a 2nd wife.

We obviously have fundamental theological differences here. I think that Christians are fully under the Levitical law, because God doesn't change, and "not one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law until ALL be fulfilled". Even if you argue that the Levitical laws are a higher standard that only applied to the Levitical priesthood, we as Christians are a priesthood of believers. Every believer is a priest, because Christ tore down the cloth that separated the priesthood from the congregation, and in Christ we are all believers.
The only thing that has been "done away with" are the ceremonial laws of the carnal ordinances, the animal sacrifices and the sabbaths, because those things were "a shadow of things to come" and "a figure for the time now present", and were symbolic of Christ's sacrifice on the cross.

I went through a phase in my life where I personally considered myself an atheist. I thought the idea of God was superfluous to the origins of Being and Purpose. I did come back to the faith after attending a high school that boasted a Philosophy and Formal Logic class, but that's beside the point.
Even in my godless years, I still put on all the appearances of being Catholic for reasons other than faith. Namely, in all of history, every civilization that has tried to root-out religion, and Christianity in particular, has suffered immensely for it.
I won't point out the USSR or other such obvious examples.
Consider Mexico and the revolutions that came to a head in the 20 & 30s.
It's all well and good to say, "just educate people," but that is a very long-term goal and corollary, not opposed, to religion in society.
Religion undeniably provides structure, a moral compass, a sense of tradition and belongingness in a society which are all equally critical in maintaining a high-trust society.
In order to efficiently raise a society up, by education and other means, a high-trust, stable society must first be in place.
So, even if I didn't believe in God, I would still go to church (and did) without any airs of "religion is good for the masses but not necessary for a supreme gentleman such as myself" because homogeneous Christianity is a net good for any society and I want to live in such a society.

I've been feeling a pull towards Jesus recently. I haven't been religious since I was probably 13 or so. I'm 24 now. Just the other day I was doing some contemplative meditation because I recently moved and am alone, no family or friends. What we do know is that there were shepherds outside when he was born. That's not possible on December 25 in Israel because it's extremely cold and snowy that time of the year.
At the same time Jesus died on Nisan 14 at 33 1/2 years old. Nisan 14 is April 1st for us. Count 33 1/2 backwards starting on April 1st and that takes you to September-October.
That correlates with the shepherds being outside that time.
So Jesus being born on December 25 is a lie. Remember who the father of lie is?
