Steins;Gate thread

So what was Okabe's "special technique" that all the S;G girls talked about? All I know is it made Kurisu blush.

goatse

I'm guessing it was something lewd, and kurisu wanted it in her pudding.

WHERE IS THE rest of the story, don't 0 ends abruptly as hell and not much actually happens in it, LINTALHO?

it's literally in steins gate

banana

...

>0 ends abruptly
Zero ended in the perfect spot, it just skipped a ton of stuff that happened between V&A and MWC, like Operation Arclight and the events of the MWC worldline. The only thing that should have been added to the ending was a description of how the ND-mail and worldline compression works.

There's only so much you can do when we had the ending already from the previous game. I guess they could've done some more stuff with the war and Valkyrie and maybe do more with Amadeus, but the focus was just that period before it becomes too late for Suzuha to try and persuade Okabe to do anything.

this fucking scene
>ywn have your own Kurisu

finishing steins;gate made me depressed. depressed Kurisu doesn't exist.

>this is faris at age 32, during WWIII

God bless this guy for providing us with fully animated translated audio dramas.

>but the focus was just that period before it becomes too late for Suzuha to try and persuade Okabe to do anything
Yeah, iirc that's what Epigraph focused on and they're following exactly like it.
I'm surprised that we even get to see bits of WW3.

i wanted more scenes like this

After Suzuha gives up on trying to pressure Okabe into saving Kurisu, what does Okabe do from this point on? Work on building FG204 after episode 23 beta?

...

Depends on the ending, in some it is never elaborated on.

Isn't that literally what Steins;Gate 0 is about? I don't get when you're talking about here.

0 was a whole lot of missed potential and opportunities. Amadeus was a plot device instead of remaining a game mechanic, the phone was useless, Kagari was just there with her tits in the corner, doing nothing of value, while Maho got cucked and Daru was best boy until they made him punch Okabe for retarded reasons to force some drama.

>retarded reasons to force some drama

Talk shit, get hit. The punch ended the drama Okabe was stirring up.

Think the user means where Okabe outright doesn't go back and stays in the Beta timeline with the war and shit unfolding. Basically everything inbetween Vega & Altair and Milky Way Crossing

yet it still fucking hit me hard in the feels
>mfw TA ending

Maho's argument was literally MY PAIN IS GREATER THAN YOUR PAIN, saying that out of her ass without knowing a damn thing would make Okabe punch the daylights out of her. But that argument was forced as well.

Also Beta Suzuha a worst girl. She sucked all they way through the game. Probably is less thick than Alpha too.

Okabe said something ridiculous and deserved the punch, I honestly don't think he was "stirring it up" though. I think it was supposed to come off that way but it absolutely didn't, because the entire conversation leading up to that part was basically
>Okabe: "Daru what the fuck are you doing, I told you why this timeleap machine was a bad idea you idiot"
>Daru: "duhh whatever lol, anyway what do you think we should name the new machine?"
I thought it was pretty understandable that the already unstable Okabe sperged out completely as a result, even if what he said was wrong. If there was anytime in the story where Daru should've been immediately serious it was there.

You need to go reread the scene because the punch happened before any of that. Daru left to take a shower after hitting Okabe and then they had the sort of silly controversial discussion.

I really didn't think she was that bad. Hell it was clear that there was a nice girl buried under all the stress and war trauma, Okabe basically says as much at one point too.

I haven't played Zero, so I have no idea. I just watched the anime and nothing more. I'm asking questions for those who know whats going on in zero and the upcoming new anime season.

Okabe doesn't give a shit about WW3 and the world in general, so is it safe to say his only goal is to some day reunite with his lost love?

Well he does, in the better game. 0 can be ignored completely and nothing of value would have been lost.

In Zero, his initial plan was to continue working on Kurisu's research.

Well "Hououin Kyouma" has said several times he doesn't give a shit about the world, and that the only reason he did it was to save Kurisu in the "true time line"

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but I don't think she was arguing that her pain was greater, just that it was similar. The comparison itself was still wonky as hell but the principle beneath it all of not giving up and whatever the fuck was sound enough.

>the phone was useless
That's because the D-mail was barely prominent in this, no?
At least Amadeus kinda works as a substitute.

if daru wasn't taking okabe seriously about the time leap machine why would he treat okabe's comment more seriously

especially if literally neither of them affect that daru, it's okabe's reality they're fucking with

I enjoyed beta Suzuha much more than alpha honestly, especially in V&A route.

nullpo

>they give you the ability to access Amadeus and talk to her until X-mas
>the game punishes you for wanting to talk to her
>instead of using her as a beacon through the darkness for Okabe
Also the phone gave you dank achievements and tidbits of character development, on top of being instrumental for getting the true end. It did jack fucking shit in 0.

He knew that Okabe would freak out over learning that he was working on the timeleap machine, that's why he was hiding it in the first place. He was absolutely determined to see the completion of it through as well. The way he initially responds to Okabe's concerns once he found was completely ridiculous. For me it really soured the rest of the scene, which could've been good otherwise.

Which eventually led to d-mail video message to Okabe in 2010, in order to save Kurisu.

I know no one will agree with me here because it entails having more Kagari, but I wish they had a few more scenes of her with Suzuha. Suzuha says that she saw her like a little sister but I didn't really feel that such a bond was really there from what we saw of the two together. Suzuha talks about a few things they did that happened offscreen, make that onscreen. We get a metric fuckton of scenes about Daru & Yuki, the story could probably cut a bit of that out for Suzuha & Kagari scenes and it'd still be fine.

...

gah

Still his initial plan didn't really come to fruition as WW3 breaks down later anyway.

>the game punishes you for wanting to talk to her
To be honest I do like that part, it further appoint that there's no good to come if you're too close to her.

>To be honest I do like that part, it further appoint that there's no good to come if you're too close to her.
yeah, I think it's emphasising that despite [Kurisu] having the same memories as Kurisu, [Kurisu] will never be the same as the real thing

They made Kurisu such a great waifu in the original. Loyal, willing to sacrifice herself for Mayuri and Okabe. Socially awkward in a cute way. It makes Okabe's final goodbye to her so painful, that you really feel for Okabe in a way.

kurisu best girl, prove me wrong.

This Japanese shaman girl.

>girl
>she

user, I have some bad news...

I can't...

Suzuha's a close second for me though

If Kurisu wasn't so perfect, Suzuha Amane would be my fave S;G girl.

I want to fuck Moeka's moekas.

Subtle good taste.
