It seems like they were planning on more massive scale attacks and ways to collapse the Western European governments, but then people like Trump started showing up and suddenly their main stronghold/army of ISIS is now almost gone in less than a year.

Now their jihad has been halted, and the extremists left have to hide in the shadows among refugee camps/islamic majority ghettos in Europe.

The only thing they have going for them is economic migrants coming to Europe, but the flow is slowing down and a lot of them are ending up being African, which doesn't mix well with proper planning.

I also want to add that the fear of terrorists was bigger than the actual threat. Their campaign was to make Europe fear into submission, but there is coming a point when Europeans are getting numb to the threat and are becoming more openly hostile against anyone of Islamic origin.

ISIS has largely been defeated as a single entity. There are plenty of smaller groups running around, but the propaganda and organizational abilities of ISIS are, for the most part, dead.

As a result you see fewer lone wolves, since those guys aren't being constantly fed propaganda, and the bigger attacks aren't happening because they can barely organize their own defense, let alone a 5 gunmen attack in a major European city.

I'm just concerned that with fewer attacks the right might lose some momentum going forward. It was easy when you could point to the monthly attacks to convince normies that something wasn't right. Now it might get more difficult
