When will S2 start?

Probably when Urobutcher gets around to writing it. Took him a year to write TBF, from the production diary videos. I think he's working on a Gorilla film.

I think he attributes this to the change in medium. Because puppet faces can't move and "act" as much, he had issues writing out his Urobutcher-esque long dialogue heavy scenes without the characters turning into puppets just standing there.

Not really. She needed babies, and he is easily dominated. It was practical. She picked him because she knows he couldn't say no.

It wasn't only that, at the end Ken turn his back to everything basically choosing death to do the right thing, he became the hero he wanted to be and saved Taihi in the process, and yeah, Taihi position was basically "well, this guy isn't half-bad, let's baby boom"

The only thing I didn't like about it was how one-sided all the fights were, with one combatant being clearly stronger than the other one. Aside from that, it was pretty great. It kind of surprised me how expressive puppets combined good voice actors can be, without proper facial expressions or the kind of body language you can use in live-action shows or animation..

Sure enough, the one-sidedness wasn't reallya flaw in all the fights. Vape duck vs. Bones of Creation was satisfying as fuck. Bones of Creation going out with a laugh and making vape duck rage while doing so was even more satisfying. I would've like to have some more even fights nonetheless. Still, even with one-sided fights, Thunderbolt Fantasy was the best Sup Forums-related thing airing when it did. I don't honestly remember that much about the actual anime airing at the same time, but Thunderbolt Fantasy is something I remember and will probably rewatch sometime.n

霹靂狂刀 = other pili shows
舞 = dance or wielding/ executing
東離劍 = this show

Another interpretation is reading it as 霹靂狂刀舞東離劍, which means the Wild Thunderbolt Sabre Dances/ rampages through Dong Li Sword. Or the meta meaning of "Pili's other shows" waltzing around Thunderbolt Fantasy's setting.

Anybody hear about this novel they released? Supposedly it covers how duck betrayed demontitties and phoenix.
I haven't heard much about the kei gai part, but it seems that Setsumushou used to be Lin's bodyguard at some point, and even had friendly talks with him over liquor. There's also mention of Mushou having an obligatory tragic backstory.

From the information i could found about the novel and the hints in the show, both of them seem to had serious friendship and romance with the duck in the past

Side note: the videos here is about four heroes from the show fighting a villain(who previous post as a good guy in the show) at the same time.
The villain is a vary power fighter who can make an avatar clone of himself.
He explode at the ending because he was trick by the hero to absorb two powerful that too much for him to handle.

These were from the same arc, so he was fighting the same group of villains(a religious cult and a demonic clan) and the girl in purple clothe was his girlfriend

It's because he is a lawful villain. He keeps his promises, pay his bills, and takes care of his subordinates. When the demoness betrayed him, his first though was "so, that means I don't need to pay you for your services anymore, right?"

As in, he had the money ready. And that only her betrayal negated their contract.

That's because it was never about the fights. Butcher has actually done his research. He even talked about liking Gu Long's wuxia novels and those tend to be not as action oriented as Jin Yong's works (aka why most people think wuxia is mainly crazy martial arts and power ups like some Jump battle manga). In fact, if you're familiar with Gu Long's works, you'll see similar sentiments in TF, that is it's more about the characters. It's why where Jin Yong's works often features a newbie MC growing strong as the story unfolds, Gu Long's stories tend to open with the MCs already completed their training and are already established in the realm.

He was only edgy because he had an obsession with swords and killing, yet he expressed it with as much edge as possible.
His poem succinctly explains his entire character.

Duck also probably denied him, in his mind, a "rightful" death, so he was probably more pissed off that someone was stronger than him, yet didn't kill him. Probably had a death wish.

Something I thought was interesting was even though everytime he opened his mouth it was to spew something edgy about killing people or being a killer- he actually wound up being one of the nicer characters?
He wasn't even the cliche silent loner type- he went around gossiping to everyone about Shang and talked constantly, even made jokes.
He came across as just a lonely guy trying way too hard.

Anyway I'm pretty sure he legit had autism. Only instead of being all hung up on trains or yugioh, it was swords.

I hope it's as fun as S1.
With the mystery around Sho Fu revealed it lost some of it's mystery.
