I lived in sweden for a several years and i have good experience with that. But you are also allowed to have your own washer/dryer setup in your apartment if you want. Allthough some landlords still don't allow you to have your own.

Some of the older buildings would have to have extensive modifications to put machnines in every apartment and some municipalities have regulations against dryer exhaust street side, which would mean all apartments street side would have to pipe dryer exhaust across the building or to the roof....just isnt viable.
