Demons which come into contact with human souls will not stop until that soul has been damned to hell or destroyed outright (as in the death of the soul in addition to the death of the person). Angels have no personality, making them literal instruments of their god's will. Nothing they say or do is their own will for the most part. Since they only contact humans when they are delivering messages, their actual personality is not even on the radar.
