Anyway, it it looks like the show will have three special episodes so those must be the buffer for the staff when their work falls behind schedule later on.

Still have no idea what this is about, but it looks awesome and have Sawano on it which means the action scenes are going to be hype even if the anime turns sour. Looks like FSN right now though. Wasn't it advertised as a new coming of fantasy or something? It's pretty cool that it has mechs and guns, but also sword and magic. The scene where the mech clashes with the girl was pretty tight. Hopefully the plot holds up, so far it doesn't look like it will just because of the characters we're seeing.

Story part i think:
また、作中のキャラは自分たちの物語を生み出した「創造主」を探したりする模様。
「創造主の世界に制裁を」や「どうしてあんな世界を作ったの！？」みたいなセリフもあり、作品世界から出てきたキャラたちと主人公たちの世界の人間との関係は一筋縄ではいかなさそう。
あおき監督も「創作とは、みたいなことを考えさせられるところに１番惹かれた」というようなことを言ってたし、私もそんな雰囲気を感じた。
物語を作る時、喜劇にも悲劇にもできるし、ハッピーエンドにもバッドエンドにもできるし、凄惨な試練を与えたり、おだやかな日常を与えたりできるということの重さを感じる。それゆえ主人公の世界の人間たちが「創造主」と呼ばれ、「神代の世界」と呼ばれてる。色々考えてしまいそう。

1話では主人公は語り部のような立場をとってるので、おそらく物語に関与はするが中心にい続けるというよりは、観測者の立場なんだと思う。
お話の中心はあくまでセルジア(だっけ？)さんの方なのかなという印象。

I highly doubt the general viewing audience cared enough to get involved in the simple, generic premise or it's plotholes. It's all just an excuse to have giant robot battles. It was just entertaining enough in the start but got boring as fuck after the premiere.

A basic plot isn't bad, it all depends on whether it can be fun enough to keep viewers watching. If it aims low but fails to be fun then it's in danger.

In the previous PV he says the red haired girl is the protagonist, "if by protagonist you mean someone at the center to the end" and calls himself a "kyogen" master. He talks pretty strangely but doesn't seem terrible.
