Soft and light since the way their animated suggests they have they're like jelly though some parts can be completely solid.
Can't really be sure about their method of attack though. The big one in episode 1 had tentacles with teeth but a lot of others are simply blobs. The latter are probably selectively permeable. They can touch the snowy ground and push through wooden walls just fine without absorbing them. Either they choose what to absorb or they have crush victims to engulf them.
Not sure how they're floating works since gravity still affects them in episode 4 but it's safe to say they can't fly.

Fan made Friends are actually surprisingly rare.
I was looking at the "Friends" collaborations categories listed by pixiv and they all seemed to be standard crossover fanart.
Like in some cases it shouldn't be hard and would be pretty easily recongized as Kemono Friends related. Monster Hunter would be harder to do since there isn't much reference, but, say, a Jibanyan Friend drawn in a Serval style outfit (which is used for small cats in general) should be something pretty easy to do and immediately recognizable as a Kemono Friends cross, not just a random personification.
In the game, those other 3 were never even used, and were just known as unused mascots since the park closed due to the Sandstar incident. In the anime they clearly were attempting to make the park work after the Sandstar.
They were also a reference to the three categories of Friends in the game (Cool, Pure, Passion). Considering how in the anime there isn't that classification, it makes sense to go with just one type, so, we get "Lucky".
