For the past 2 weeks or so the captchas here are absolutely out of fucking control!! And it appears to happen on other sites that require captchas as well.
I just solved 16 different captchas correctly, and I still never got to reply to the post. Each time it says "You seem to have mistyped the captcha, please retry". Every fucking time I solved the stupid captcha and get the green arrow go ahead, and when i hit "post", i get the same message. I am averaging having to solve around 5 to 8 captchas before it finally goes through and i get a successful post. But 16??? Anybody know what in the hell is going on? Is 4chanX the answer?

Often the message is tick cars, and there are no cars on the picture, only road signs, and I don't read the message, I just tick road signs and press next, only later realizing I was supposed to tick nothing. Captcha often accepts incorrect input and lets me post, and my theory is it learns from that, and sometimes treats correct input as incorrect, and this is the cause of decrease in quality lately.

OP, if you only knew how bad it really is. Similar experiences to yours, but completely random. Well, not completely - the more posts I've made from a given IP, the more 'trouble' the captcha gets. So it's basically a >if you are here that much, fucking pay for it But here's where the really random shit kicks in. Sometimes I just get to post with no captcha at all (you should try it, first one is free) other times I fuck up and realize that I tagged images with vehicles, when I should have tagged bridges. And I still get to pass

By the way, this is something to do with browser settings. I've tried 3 different browsers (firefox, chrome, and edge), I got this problem on all three, unless I switched to privacy mode. In privacy mode captchas complete right away.

I use VPN for this. If you come trough VPN, they sometimes let you in even without asking captcha at all. After the checkmark is there, I switch VPN off and press "post".
