In their defense, Amagi was their first big boob main sales point series like that.
Phantom World and Maid Dragon sure followed in that trend, and they both flopped hard too.

The difference is that unlike Phantom Sales and Flop Dragon, Amagi was actually fun and decently written.
But it's Kadokawa's so second season never.
