Little known fact is that here courier companies HAVE to contract at least part of their delivery to canada post. All international packages have to go through canada post. Even if you hire fedex or UPS. Keeping the post office in business, keeping prices high, and keeping lazy 20 hour a week union workers employed until they retire at age 49. Its ridiculous here. Anyone who lives close to the border knows its cheaper to drive into the US and ship a parcel to canada than it is to ship form here.
