The reason why preferred insurance carriers do not care about breed is because preferred insurance carriers rate on insurance score which often times is derived mostly from credit score.
Credit/insurance score = your ability to properly train dogs. Higher the score, the better your ability to take care of a dog. Lower the score, the worst you take care of your dog. All of this includes breeds.
You also don't see this happening with other aggressive breeds because low credit niggers can't afford a $2,000 AKC approved German Shepard, therefore the dog that is practically being given away at shelters, Pit Bulls, get the brunt end of the deal when it comes to the statistics on aggressive breeds correlated with dog bites.

If you read my post above, insurance carriers, usually the ones that pay out the liability claims, the preferred ones don't rate on breed type because there is 0% correlation between breed (pit bull) and dog bite liability claims when you have a high insurance score (credit score).
It's only the non-standard and standard (low to mid credit scores) that rate on dog breed because they can prove that having a bad insurance score (credit score) means you are also a bad dog owner.

There are also vicious bloodlines within the breed that are sought out by scum. The same could go for most breeds. Breed for aggression, and you could have a line of vicious Golden Retrievers in a few generations.

I have a pitbull at home. She is extremely nice to humans. Literally every guest is her best friend, to the point that we feel jealous. To humans, she is one of the friendliest dogs I've ever seen. She was aggressive to other dogs in previous years, sometimes attacked them with little provocation, but we made it clear to her that we do not approve of this and now she basically does not react aggressively to dogs at all.
