Why is the magazine cover plastered with 3d whores?

Because Young Animal is a soft core porn magazine

Miura is a JAV director, now.

Miura isn't getting any better with colored works.

It looks better than Volume 38.
Also his colored work from 1996 to 1999 is absolute dog shit especially with the faces, like what the fuck.

I think 35 has the worst face

Biggest question fr this chapter is what Casca's mind and dream was like before Guts choked her and bit one of her breasts.

Not sure what exactly you mean, but the bitten tiddy is intact on the doll.

He looks like one of the black dog knights

FUN THINGS ARE FUN

Contrary to the 3DPD belief many magazines that run manga also feature articles about real life stuff.

Seinen magazines where its main content is erotic manga will deal with articles about gravure idols and shit, Young Animal is full of ecchi manga despite Berserk being its flagship title, it is a successful black sheep.

Now that I'm starting rereading, Guts really is an ojisan now damn.

Yeah, he's looking a lot older now and he's only 24

Is it Griffith or Grifis?

It's GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Guriffissu and Gattsu

Christ, I was in denial before but Miura really has lost his touch

Miura clearly isn't drawing anymore, it's all done by his assistants

He has always fucked up with colored artwork.
I think a majority of the manga lately hasn't even been his art. A lot of it just looks too amateur.

YA also ran Air Master and Detroit Metal City.

And 3-gatsu no Lion.

Air Master was filled with panty shots even if the focus was the fighting.

so I was playing this cool game called hollow knight and found this reference
his first line was
>I have a tendency to go berserk in battle

cute

I recognized RaMu before Guts.

From the thumbnail.

When does the translation come out

The weekend, for the good translation at least

Fag. Is she the one to the left or right?

Alright, if I remember correctly from the guidebook, that mini Casca character will be their Eclipse guide.

I am not expecting any horror anymore, wonder how Miura will portray it. With super-deformed apostles and big-black "censored

Left

I hope to jesus christ Miure was dying from pain while he drew that or let an intern draw it.

>dub
>Funimation

The Korean scans look like someone rubbed fucking Vaseline on everything.

What's the point of the digital touch-ups? Or are these purely digital raws?

I made this shitty comparison from the spoilers we got yesterday, and I think they look better. Everything isn't all washed out, and you can actually see the cross-hatching in the backgrounds.

Maybe it's designed to look better on the printed page in the first place?

the right one is objectively better

Guts doggie is cute

I think so too.

Are the Korean scans actual digital raws, or are they touched-up digitally to "look better"?

actually i don't really get this
The dream of Griffith was to have a country, as far as Guts knows.
What else is there?
(also taking into consideration that Griffith beat Gunishka or whatever his name was, he beat the biggest emperor beyond him. what else does he want)

>not rubbing vaseline over your mango for the best reading experience

Why's it being released in a porn mag?

I think Guts just knows that Griffith isn't the type of person to rest on his laurels, even if he ostensibly has what he wants. Griffith is called the "King of Longing", he's always striving for more dominion over pretty much everything, and Guts knows that.

I've been doing it wrong all these years

really makes you think

So DEEP.
I was almost crying.

as far as i get that, he(Griffith) is probably able to unite the nations of the world kinda like Gaiserick(or whatever his name is), while maintaining the balance of demonds and humans as in Falconia, then what?

Also, there is the theory that Griffith wants to sacrifice the people of Falconia. But why would he do that? I mean, he is pretty much as powerful as one gets, and i don't see Femto desperate for more power, nor any new high-level behelits, which would grant him that power

I just realized how Griffith looks like Lady Oscar

I doubt Griffith is going to sacrifice Falconia. The only way that would make sense is if he intends to conquer something that isn't even on the material plane.

If his aspirations extend beyond the "physical" world, who the fuck knows what his intention is.

I think what's more likely is that Griffith simply wants world domination and unification, not simply control over Midland, which is what he has now.

Because of what SK did during the battle with Ganishka the entire world is bordering on uninhabitability, since the astral planes are layering over physical reality. As a result, people are drawn to Falconia like moths to a flame since it's a safe haven in a world gone mad. If I had to make a bet on his next actions, it will be the destruction of other safe-havens around the world so that Falconia is the only beacon humanity has left, putting Griffith in charge of the the entire fate of mankind.

But honestly, who the fuck knows?

This is a chapter that normal people even 10 years from now will never understand.

why would you link a spoiler if its not translated yet DUMBFUCK

The Falconia sacrifice theory is fucking retarded because a) you can't sacrifice shit until you reach maximum despair, and b) the sacrificial subject has to mean everything to you. Neither of these conditions apply to Griffith now.

Falconia couldnt possibly house all of those people though

Why not just conquer other kingdoms? Its not like anyone is strong enough to beat him. Or if he still wanted to play up a "savior" angle he could pretend to save the world from monsters (like the Organization did in Claymore)

Falconia is a magical city that was raised from the ruins of the ancient King's long dead reign now infused with astral bullshittery from the World Tree, so I kind of assumed it would build itself in the same way it already has, becoming a medieval super-city.

I'm probably wrong though.

He could still do something like he did in the Tower of Conviction

The maximum despair part is true, but Falconia is literally his dream brought into the material plane, a dream that killed all of his closest friends. Wouldn't something like that mean everything to him? It all depends on if the sacrifice has to be a person, or if it can be an idea/construction.

If that's the case, it seems like the only true condition that has to be met is that he has to reach max despair again, which doesn't seem likely. I don't even know if Griffith can feel human emotions without the Moon-Child affecting him.

It's not just dominion. In volume 10, Guts realizes that there are two sides to Griffith - a human with his own fragility and uncertainties and then a rare, one in a million person who can't be "normal" if his life depended on it. He will always rise higher and see more than others because this drive and daring is inherent to him. Countries, social order, religion - he never saw anything as immutable or impossible to change.

True, it's much more than simply desiring power over others, it's more the fact that Griffith literally cannot operate in any other capacity. He is the oil to humanity's waters.

>b) the sacrificial subject has to mean everything to you.
That isn't true tho, we have seen apostle sacrifice people that are disliked or unrelated to them, like the Egg and the world/the people near the tower and Rosine and her father that abused her.

He seemed pretty eager to get rid of his human emotions (no wonder, since they had caused his fall in the first place), so I think his affect is at least severely blunted now, which makes him much less susceptible to any sacrifices.

The Egg apostle sacrificed the world, which was both what he cared about the most and the source of his despair. Similarly, Rosine loved her father as any child does, but he was also the source of his torment.

*her torment

The Egg of the Perfect world was unlike any other Apostle in that he was completely selfless.

He did care about those in the world that were downtrodden and forgotten, so upon sacrificing the "current world" and himself, he actually did give up something dear to him. In his eyes, he gave the lives of those he thought deserved better in exchange for betterment in the future.

I think he's the only Apostle so far who was technically able to sacrifice himself as well.

>Air Master
I barely remember the fights
only panty shots, leotards, yuri, rape and big bouncing tits, lots of big bouncing tits. did those ever fit into a panel?

Heheh, nice.

>rawproviderdecidestomesswithvideo.jpg

>which was both what he cared about the most
What? The Egg hated the world and everyone in it.
>Rosine loved her father as any child does
No she fucking didn't he abused her and her mother daily since she was born and was the reason she left to begin with and the reason her behelit activated.

Also I forgot to mention that Void sacrificed an entire fucking kingdom, are you going to claim that every single fucker in Midland was near and dear to him? There has to be sometimes some relation to the apostle but to say that the one sacrificed has to be someone whose absence would mean something to the apostle or someone the apostle loves/cares for is just factually wrong. Even if it is what most sacrifices are that doesn't mean the sacrifice has to have those qualities.

>Also I forgot to mention that Void sacrificed an entire fucking kingdom,
When?

Doesn't dying Rosine have flashbacks of her smiling with her father?

Around a thousand years ago.

>The Egg hated the world and everyone in it.
Untrue. He despaired from the state of it, but he wanted to see it improve and be reborn into something better.
As for Rosine, remember the last scene in the Lost Children arc? Deep down, she wanted a normal family like anyone else, with her parents beside her.

Sometimes I forgot that Umino Chica (3-gatsu's author) helped Miura in making Berserk's female characters.

Crossover when?

>>Untrue. He despaired from the state of it, but he wanted to see it improve and be reborn into something better.
Even in this assumption you can clearly see that the Egg himself had no personal relationship with the entirity of the fucking world. If the Egg can sacrifice the world or even just the people around the Tower of Conviction, people unknown to him, then that proves that any apostle can sacrifice anyone, that is all I am saying.

It doesn't have to be your lover or your family or your friends or whatever.

>Miura and Umino collaborate on a new manga, with the former doing the story while the latter does the artwork
>it's about the dark side of the idol industry

>It doesn't have to be your lover or your family or your friends or whatever.

Yes, this is true, all the other user was saying is that it still has to be of great importance to the guy doing the sacrificing, which places Falconia within the realms of "sacrificable" as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think it'll happen, but I think it's possible.

Nobody said that the sacrifice has to be a person, only that the one doing the sacrificing must care about it very deeply ("part of your very soul" and all that). Current Griffith, however, doesn't seem to be capable of deep human feelings.

Griffith feels like more of a shell than Casca is, he's lost all the warmth he once had as a human. We don't really feel connected to him as a character when the focus shifts to the new Hawks, so the chapters are always from the viewpoint of characters like Sonia or Rickert.

Why is there no berserk rogue-like?

you'd think after TOME & ADOM it'd be the perfect fit for berserk

Why do people let it fly that the mangaka takes off a year or so and doing nothing?
>inb4 b-but MUH HEALTH
LITERALLY (and i mean it) every other profession has to deliver. I can understand if you're sick, so you have to take a break but what mangaka are doing is a fucking joke.

Has anyone got a link to a direct download of the DH mangas? Watched the films and it's given me a taste for more.

Because japanese people like shitty games.

It's always been released in a porn mag, Berserk has been that magazine's flagship series for decades now.

so how did the get past the censors?

> helped Miura in making Berserk's female characters
Really? What characters specifically?

not him but I remember that it wasn't girls in particular but more on how girls as a whole worked because he had trouble with that. not directly helping him with the series.

Reminder that Miura will die before Berserk gets a conclusion

>how girls as a whole worked
???

Just the nature of females and tendencies as much as boys have their own. I think Casca is the best example and how she can be with Guts sometimes. Like when she tried attacking Guts. Miura said that the series is mainly based on emotions so I think he had trouble understanding girls in that sense.

Casca was useless before the retardation and she will be just as useless after she gets fixed.

>This bit

Fuck me. Why is it so goddamn bittersweet. ;_;

oh

I think Berserk is pretty decent at female characters. I'd maybe say early Caska seemed a bit "off" but generally its fine

how female suffering is portrayed is another conversation lol

why didnt he hug her or something

Skully is so fucking cool. Skull Knight Gaiden when?

>Skull Knight brings up Casca getting healed, literally first time its mentioned in the story at that point
>Miura then drags us on a boat for over a decade

If you think she won't get healed and feel better, you're deluded. I doubt Miura would pull something so fucking cunty as to have her healing lead nowhere. And what the hell else would the story be after that? Guts, once again, going after Griffith?

>friendzoned
cucked

>Bringing Sup Forumsmemes into Berserk

be gone.

>implying Skull Knight gives a single shit about love in that capacity

He is ascended.

She'll be healed, but I don't think she will be all right

>And what the hell else would the story be after that?
Depends how much Casca remembers and what she wants. Again assuming that she does get cured.

Is the English translation out already?

>Casca, Griffith killed all of our friends, caused great suffering to many people and is now a demon leading demonic armies. Also he raped you and caused our child to become a demon baby who protected us but you sort of miscarried at the same time.

>"I love Griffith I will be with him."

If Miura does this I'll screech.
