Houthis getting slaughtered by UAE helicopter. Don't they have any MANPADS? Senpaitachi it doesn't look too good in one helicopter can kill so many. It sucks to be a rebel without a proper anti-air in modern wars.
I stopped browsing here last month because literally nothing is happening is that still the case, have they even started in east ghouta or idlib

>Moments ago, the units of the Syrian Army’s 4th Mechanized Division and Republic Guard brigades opened up a new and very powerful offensive in the far southeast sector of the East Ghouta pocket. The operation is targeting armed rebel groups in the district of Marj along the Tal Firzat, Hazrama, Hawsh Al-Fadaiyah and Al-Nashabiyah axes.
It appears that SAA finally shifted their focus from fortified Jobar and decided to attack elsewhere. I think that's a good idea.

Houthis will likely lose as odds against are overwhleming but ISIS already lost in Iraq and almost lost in Syria.
ISIL was indeed much better supplied (and probably still is) than Houthis as Syria doesn' any blockade and Iranian support was minimal if any. Whereas ISIS was for a long time sponsored and armed by Saudis and other Gulf oil niggers.
Anyway I dare to say Houthis done better as ISIS as they have to fight against Saudi and Emirati ground forces which are much better equipped than SAA or Shiite militias in Syria, in addition to Hadi's army and southern UAE backed sunni separatists.

>proof?they make their own ammos/weapons and get others from battles At this point their weapons are greatly dimmished but intially were armed by gulf states.
>they make their own ammos/weapons and get others from battles
Same with Houthis, except they have country-wide blockade.
>what are iraqi army, sdf >what are carpet bombings
Same thing in Yemen and Saudis/Emiratis are better armed than Iraqi army still. Syrian army was better armed before the war than poverty tier Yemeni army so ISIS had a lot more supplies.
Part of sponsoring of ISIS from Gulf wasn't directly by government but by local oil sheikhs but it's still much more than Houthis got which is close to nothing. It doesn't look like Iran even bothered to gave them MANPADS. ISIS at least got some Stingers from Iraqi army warehouses and some Chinese FN-6 manpads. Actual Gulf governments were funding ISIS directly as far as 2016, too.
>Be on the verge of winning the war >Lose your mind and say this... I hope this is fake news.

The island is comfier. I'll be back there soon enough. I expect things to get psychotic tomorrow since it is new years eve. Thankfully we'll be at the hotel and enjoying whatever happens from the roof.
Brody Lewis
you have to understand that houthis got a shitload of weapons from the yemeni army bases and iran. ISIS was making its own and getting some from enemies. if you mean that ISIS had the best long term supplying way then yes, however if you mean numbers then it's a no
Ayden Cox
No. And no to the next unasked question.

you guys don't understand that the money ISI could have gotten from the gulf came from individuals and not states. the gulf states actually supported the US in Iraq and feared alqaida/ISI/ISIS/IS. you don't realize how many people there are ready to give money
>Same with Houthis not at the same scale/efficience
>Saudis/Emiratis are better armed than Iraqi army still but the iraqi army fights with the west and its SF and airpower you can't compare it to what the UAE/KSA are doing in yemen
