music is ok

Looks like another flop.

>Actas

Anything that makes me remember Princess Princess can only be terrible.

>it's also by Actas
Oh shit.

>Kuroboshi character designs
Yes please.

3Hz is pretty based with all these originals.

>steampunk yuri battle action by 3Hz and Actas with Kajiura soundtrack

Is that Kajiura music?

Female MC, cool design and setting.
I'm sold.

Yes.
You can google translate the credits in the video's description.

Not the best part, the best part is Okouchi ichirou is the main writer.

...

Staff list here:

animeanime.jp/article/2017/03/24/33076.html

Okouchi writing is a huge gamble but when he does good work he ends up making some of my favorite shows

Oh shit it's going to be fucking awful, then.
I can't wait.

...

This will be Flip Flappers revenge

...

...

Princess Princess is the only good yaoi I've ever watched

The writer is notorious for producing trainwrecks, mishandling promising and well-funded action titles and being completely incapable of writing female characters.

And now he's handling a well-funded action original with a primarily female cast. This is going to be a fucking disaster. Okouchi is the Okada of scifi action.

The character design seems familiar.

Masaki Tachibana who did Barakamon is directing this

Zvezda? Kino? Just google Kuroboshi.

I'm ready for yet another competently animated but poorly written show. Now with Actas' trademark broadcast delays!

I hope I'm wrong though because this looks pretty promising.

>Now with Actas' trademark broadcast delays!

Not like Actas is even the main studio behind this. It's a collaboration, no reason for delays.

Which other notable shows is the writer responsible for?

recent track record is Valvrave, Comet Lucifer and Kabaneri
chance of this not being a trainwreck is about 5%.

Code Geass
Valverave
And recently Kabaneri

Yes, I was thinking about Zvezda.
Don't know about Kino though.

>3HZ keeps on making originals against all odds

This is becoming my favorite studio

>Which other notable shows is the writer responsible for?

Code Geass, Kabaneri, Planetes, Shigofumi

It's yuri and no one can prove me wrong.
God bless original anime!

Valvrave and Code Geass are fucking fun

Is she the heroine? I like her.

Best outfit.

Which means the best we can hope for with this is another fun spectacle in which characters get mishandled, break character, get raped and genocide the 11s whenever the show needs to end on a cliffhanger.

Which is nice, I guess. I kinda hoped fore something I could actually get into, though. This'll just be something to laugh at.

I guess flip flappers wasn't a big flop after all since they're going for another original anime already.

Summary

Looks like spy thriller.

Which basically means it has nothing to do with espionage at all.

3Hz doesn't work independently. A bigger company pays them to make stuff. The IP is owned and paid for by that bigger company, 3Hz just takes their check and uses it for a production budget.

Flip Flappers flopping didn't affect them much because they already got paid for it.

3hz AND actas

So, how many episodes will get delayed this time around?

> Those designs
Kuroboshi?

> Ninjas in not-1800s London

Synopsis

The stage is set during the 19th century London, in its capital where a wall divides the east and west of the Kingdom of Albion. Five high school girls, who enrolled in the prestigious Queens May Fair School, are involved in spy activities that involve disguise, infiltration, car chase, and more. These girls take advantage of their special abilities and fly around the shadow world.

> Planetes
> Shigofumi
Hopefully it'll be more like those.

Holy shit!

I don't recognize a single name in the cast.
Sh....should I?

So it's 19th-century London crossed with post-WWII Germany.

Actas did Mazinkaiser SKL?

I didn't either, I just assumed they were all newbies. Which would be a good thing.

There's also the chance I'm just a scrub when it comes to knowing seiyuu.

They're not really newbies, but none of them have had many major roles.

Kek

Why are there two steering wheels?

Shitty fucking OP. At least add the basic staff information.

New original, Princess Principal. It seems to be about female spies, taking place in London 19th century.

> >Silhouette bg girl is a princess.
Is her name just straight-up Princess?

Are the princess and her assistant tsunderes?

>Researcher: Seiichi Shirato (Joker Game)

Not even subtle on trying to cash in on it's success.

Yep.

>Angie, a quiet and brusque girl who possesses strong artistic abilities

>Dorothy, Angie's partner and the group's leader who excels in driving and shooting
>Beatrice, a noble girl who feels strong respect and affection for Princess for saving her life

>a show about spies uses the same consultant as another show about spies
Yeah, what a ripoff.

That excuse would work if it wasn't in the anime medium, joker game is the only relevant spy series in the last decade or 2 and this suddenly gets made in less than a year after it was a hit.

It has at least two cute lolis and interesting setting, I'm bought.

>Kaijura
Why?
She doesn't fit the style. At the very least though, I will give her that the trailer composition was good and different from usual until half way through.
Does she really needs to use vocals on everything? You can't slap vocals into everything and hope it sounds good.

That's good and all but they seriously should search better writers, interesting setting won't make the anime good on their own.

Already looks and sounds 5000 times better than fedora floppers

Probably none. It's a co-production, so Actas will only handle around half the show. They can handle that much, I'm sure.

No. If they wanted to cash in on Joker Game's success (was it even that successful?), they'd do a show about handsome boys, not cute girls. And even if your logic made sense, anime doesn't generally get green-lit with less than a year to go to release, let alone original anime.

> was it even that successful?
It was fairly successful, though obviously not a big phenomenon or anything.

Look at the chin

Doesn't look like the kind of show people stereotype him as writing, so give Okouchi some room.

This is total hyperbole. Okouchi has had some decent work as well as some alright female characters, so drop the exaggeration.

He didn't actually write Comet Lucifer.

Kabaneri wasn't a trainwreck. Just too generic.

Man, you're nuts to the point of irrationality.,

With that mindset, even if he does something totally normal, you'll be a shithead all the way through despite none of those things applying.

It will probably be better unless the hipters get mad at the espionage not being real.

>Fags forget Okouchi wrote Angelic Layer as well as Space Dandy episode

>kajiura
>music is ok

So, more yuri
didn't sell they said but they keep producing anyway

Having an all-girl cast doesn't mean it's yuri.

In most cases it does.

Hope it won't be as bad as Regalia

Regalia was surprisingly decent given the staff involved. (literal who scriptwriter and Infinite Stratos S2 director). It's your own faullt if you expected anything better than what we got.

It was a very nice surprise hearing Asumin as Nora in the last few episodes.

I expected something fun, got some bad and boring characters with LN-tier plot.

I like the setting, good music, hey this might not be bad.

It was fun enough for me and I also liked the characters. And again, the plot's decent enough consdering the writer is a literally who. Tell me, how could you expect anything given the staff it had?
Don't blame the show for failing to meet your retarded expectations

Already looks 10x better than Flop Floppers.

>the show isn't bad, it's YOUR fault for expecting it to be at least semi-decent given the staff it had!
I don't understand what are you trying to prove here and no, I didn't have any high expectations. If you're trying to defend this show by saying "don't be too hard on this because the writers aren't really good" then you basically admit the show is bad. Inexperienced staff is not an execuse to not call their work for what it is(shit).

this

I'm saying you had your judgement clouded by your own high expectations
And I disagree that it was shit. It was no masterpiece but it was decently entertaining.
Fuck off with your "objective criticism"" based on only two extremes (Is it a masterpiece? No. Then, it's shit)

>Steampunk with Kaijura music and she sounds less repititive than what she's been composing recently
>Actas and Okouchi
This seems very dumb but I'll have fun watching it.

Looks amazing, sadly Actas and Okouchi are both unreliable as fuck, but still.

And I'm saying I didn't have any high expectations, can't you read? And why do you assume I base my expectations ot two extremes? Stop with that projection already, I never said "it's not a masterpiece therefore it's shit", I watch and enjoy tons of 5-6/10 shows. The whole argument started with you telling me that I shouldn't call this show bad because the writers lacked experience, which is just dumb.

Lets hope this time they actually put some care into the story and plot so that we don't fucking get another flipflop.

Looks good.

It wont
Planetes and Shigofumi were both adapted from manga and LN.
His original
>vulvrape
>habanero
>guiltydrop

There are exception though like Ms08th and Nadesico but both of these are both before 00s.

No. It started with me disagreeing with you and saying it surpassed my own low as fuck expectations. Then I made assumptions based on general behavior here. I shouldn't have, but I'm way too cynical to trust people in the internet

Flip flappers being bad and mocking it's low sales is my favourite ebin dank meymey
Seriously, FlipFlap was great, fuck off with your hate

Nice PV
>Wow, Dunbine in Blu-ray
