Anaru is the best example why you shouldn't let your loli grow

Anaru is the best example why you shouldn't let your loli grow.

I'm so pissed that the film left us hanging on Anaru and Jintan. He obviously has a thing for her.

Anaru = Anal

I can't believe her nickname was actually Anaru

Looks like an example of why you should.

Yeah but Anaru didn't like him that way.

no, you are

if anohana were done today, anaru would totally be a gyaru

>Anaru didn't like him that way.
You're right she was in love with him. It went beyond like.

What? Anaru IS a gyaru, I don't get your comment.

She was?

Yup.

It's funny. When they were kids they didn't know of that connection and then she gets super embarassed when called that now that she does now.

Did you even watch the fucking show? It's more than spelled out.

user are you a harem MC?
How many women do you hang out with?

I thought it was just the remnants of an old crush that was recently sparked, not deep love.

herp derp

>naming your kid after a private part

You can't make this shit up

not as flashy as the recent ones

But just as shit.
Fuck Anaru.

what private part is called Anjou?

Feelings coming roaring back. Due to the Menma thing she was off it as of the last episode.

Huh? I don't think she "got off" her love.

This show went to full shit when it turned out MEMEma can physically touch objects.

She can't though, she can touch her diary in the secret base, that's it.

Oh, hey, they added a fourth panel. I see.

>anaru got a bunch of anaru doujinshi
feels good man

>Due to the Menma thing she was off it as of the last episode.
No she wasn't. It was clear in the film that took place a few years after that she's still in love with him.

user...

I wish more of them were like Anaru. Quality semen demon that only wants to be loved by one guy, she gave me lots of great faps.

Well, I never saw the movie.

When you have an entire 2/3rds of the plot focused around proving to people that Menma's ghost exists, and said ghost did nothing until she wrote and dropped something just to abruptly solve the problem, it's just bad writing.

>This level of denial
You a fan of Eriri too aren't you?

Yes. Good guess.

Except Menma did do plenty of stuff. Remember she knocked over a glass in her home in the first episode? And how people felt some presence when she hugged them or something.
I don't think it's nearly as bad as you make it out to be - Menma can't interact with the world except things and/or at places she feels strongly connected to. By extension this would also explain why she can interact with Jintan.
And even if it is a bit of a crutch, you gotta look at what the story gains and loses by using it. You lose pretty much nothing and gain the ability to move past that "proving Menma exists" issue onto more substantial, meaningful ones, like the problems the characters are dealing with.

I didn't see the movie. They still aren't together a year later? That's upsetting.

Nope, they don't give us anything on their relationship whatsoever.

It's just that the proof happened right at the moment when none of the characters are willing to believe Jinta anymore, and then a literal ghost magic trick happens and everyone turns around to believe Jinta. I didn't mind if Menma could touch objects, but that really should have been shown at the beginning or built up further towards that point instead of just abruptly happen right at the moment where all of Jinta's chance of proof was gone.

So they could be dating but we just don't know? I always assumed they were either dating or very close to it at the end. Still a fantastic show.

Why are anime original pieces so much better than adaptations? I have a hard time watching adaptations anymore knowing the manga is almost always better

The film didn't imply that they were dating, at least not to me. It did imply that the other two characters were; pretty boy and the girl with glasses.

>fantastic show
Nah the ending was crap.
Which was a real shame because because most of the rest of the show was great and the penultimate epsode was actually my favourite. They did so well up until then with subtlety and reasonable characters but then the fucking japs genes kicked in and they think that a big dramatic resolution needs big dramatic gestures aka everyone breaking down and bawwing like babies.
