I think it's more a mixed bag than anything. There are some good tracks but roughly 90 percent of it is incidental music that can't be listened to out of context.
Also, if you think green jacket's ending theme wasn't good then you have no taste.

I think the music was great for Lupin III: Part II. Part I and Part III were also good, but I haven't seen all of Part IV (new series, not the Fujiko one) yet, so I don't know how it compares, except it mostly reminds me of Part III so far. Yuji Ohno has done a wonderful job throughout the series, I think.
