People are discussing the scene where Subaru gets angry at Satella for calling him Subaru-kun.

It was about time the LN kept a scene of Subaru sperging about Rem

There are three posts about it, and none of them say much. First post is a joke about how Roswaal also calls him Subaru-kun, when Subaru says only one person is allowed to call him that. Second post disputes this, by saying that it specifies that it's only "lovingly" calling him Subaru-kun that he'll only permit from one person.

Third post is someone wondering if Satella thinks she can earn forgiveness for having called him "Subaru-kun". Or at least that's my crude interpretation.

Well, there are still slight changes and cuts to the wording of parts and how they're described. I'm no expert on this.

One change is that the description of the kiss Subaru was expecting is slightly less lewd. In the WN, it's talking about the feeling of tongues entwining. In the LN, it just talks about lips overlapping.

I don't mean a kiss that actually happened. When Carmilla is about to kiss him, and what he prevents with his hand, is described as "tips of the tongue sweetly intertwining". The LN has it as "lips sweetly overlapping".
