Excellent, excellent.
Yeah, No way they'd let this popularity go to waste.
TANOSHII IS NOT OVER
Good to hear, it would be pretty tragic if a show this surprisingly good with a buzzing nascent fanbase was only one season.
>Konosuba
>Kemono Friends
Is this the age of "who cares about animation quality"?
Thank fucking God.
As long as people find it fun they'll watch, to the average person stuff like animation quality doesn't really matter.
It's more like the age of having actual soul and substance in a show
Wrong hole,kaban-chan!
Are you serious? Already?
I'm fucking speechless
What kind of abandoned park would they go to next?
I want to ride that bus, friend.
The City.
Those are made with love unlike the cheap stuff toei and pierrot shit out for a quick buck.
>new video production decision
Yes, new video production. Nothing about a second season.
Please wait until things are confirmed in detail to celebrate.
So someone on twitter already made this already
Well what else are they going to do after this? Put out their little card game? If the anime is selling remotely as rumored then they will profit off that way more than anything else they can drum up at this moment.
Considering its production budget was a couple dollar menu McDonald's runs and whatever change they managed to fish up between couch cushions, selling 30k+ on a show like this is a fucking colossal haul. If it does 50 or 100 they should pump out this stuff for many years, even if sequels dropped off at half sales each prior season that is probably 3+ seasons worth of solid profit. Considering the infrastructure/staff is now established and the models for many liked/relevant chars already made and can be used endlessly, this show probably costs practically fucking nothing to make compared to hand drawn as it is.
Fucking perfect.
Maybe this time they travel across several small islands? each of them with a set weather or ecosystem?
kemono friends is japan hopping on the brony bandwagon years too late
>fucking episode 5
Kek
Yeah, this is pretty accurate.
Next Comiket, the fat old men of the world will visit Japari Park.
This the biggest size? He should've made two rows and made the damn images bigger. Link the guy.
This is good.
>it wasn't Sup Forums
This feels wrong.
People like good quality, but well produced shows like Maid Dragon should not have reused the same 5 jokes 500 times and called it a show. That's not reasonably defensible / supportable no matter how good it looked.
JESUS CHRIST NO
KonoSuba really isn't as badly animated as people say.
What a fucking ride
すっごいー!
Good. This is the first anime in a while that made me want to make shitty fan art
This. They really shored up after the first episode, and the rest is fine. The abject failure of Hand Shakers on the other hand shows that there really isn't a correlation.
Majima is happy about the news
Looks like a condom packet in the mouth.
Friend/10
as I said. Shitty fan art.
>kemono friends will be forgotten about after 1 month after it finishes airing they said
>it's just another Japanese fad they said
>nobody will care by the time next season starts they said
Meanwhile Kemono Friends has more new anime announced than your favourite show only a couple of hours after it finished.
There is no stopping the Friends train.
Animation quality is a joke, it's mostly always all still shots over a shitty highschool drama.
Also if I wanted good animation for the sole sake of good animation, I'd watch a cartoon at this point since they have actual budget.
I marathoned it last weekend, thought it was good but not amazing, then I dreamt of Kaban-chan and haven't stopped pondering about the depth of the series and the good writing since.
Why?
I don't get why people say it is. Sure it has random shots that are pure QUALITY, but the actual animation aka when the characters are in motion is quite fluid.
Be honest guys, how hype were you when this happened?
My only problem with KonoSuba is that they choose to animate the succubus chapter instead of when Kazuma switch party. That part was more funny and interesting, IMO. Fanservice? whatever, now is in the past, I guess.
I smiled like a retard
I love love love Kemono Friends!
Maximum overhype.
...
...
The magic really is that it's good despite the seriously low budget
It's supposed to be a children's adventure show that's so low budgeted it got a 1:30 am time slot
Next to Handshakers
We Etrian Odyssey now.
Shit, man, I really need to make a EO run with Friends.
I exploded.
I knew rescue was coming, but I was expecting something boring like:
>New group shows up
>Attacks a little like the owls did and then gets tired
>New group shows up
>Repeat
Instead we got everyone popping out at the same time and work together to strategically bring the cerulean down.
10/10
Who's the someone? I like retweeting things.
>Shoebill hiding behind the tree
It's almost as if animation budget ultimately didn't mean jack fucking shit in regards to the quality of a show.
Praise the Lord.
I hope maido delivers a decent end. It became way too boring when it entered into original content territory.
>implying Konosuba doesn't reuse the same 5 jokes 500 times
Hype beyond belief.
I just watched the ending after avoiding spoilers. GOOD GOD Tatsuki made me go through a roller coaster of emotions from sadness to anger to happiness to melancholy to sadness again to happiness at the last moment.
I admit I believe this series isn't a masterpiece that some here might proclaim but it is so structurally sound and there are no glaring flaws in the journey or how it was presented that I am happy it was so simple and straight forward. It reminds me of the first season of Digimon.
This series made me love anime as a storytelling medium again. No shit rating scale/10 I can't wait for season two.
Welcome to Japanese comedy. Don't go into it expecting it to pander to your western standards.
I think I might have actually done a small fist pump involuntarily and then felt kind of dumb after.
Fuck, it all makes sense now. By the thing that was hidden underground, were they referring to the black Sandstar?
My heart warmed up
It's exactly like my Western cartoon movie fights but with cute anime characters
>dead humans are found near ceruleans
What did the friends mean by this? We dead?
Is it really s2 though? It could be just an OVA, don't get my hopes up
Loved the change of voice in Lion when she attacked. Showing how pissed she was at the Cerulean in that moment.
>searat Friend
Seagulls really suck.
No, the buried tablets. CR's translations are shit.
The hype in the room was so thick I could cut it with a knife.
Really, it was the best shit ever. I love names popping up in introductions.
>There is no stopping the Friends train.
It's not a train, it's a Japari Bus.
Grinned like an idiot, especially when I saw Fennec standing there as smug as ever despite being in the middle of a battle.
>but it is so structurally sound and there are no glaring flaws in the journey or how it was presented
that's USUALLY what people mean by masterpiece
Or at least it's one sort
Well I won't begin to ponder how they got water from the sea and dragged it all the way into the labyrinth, but since humans were involved they might've figured out a way, like the sprinkler system or something.
>By the thing that was hidden underground
I hope this mistranslation gets cleared up someday. What Mirai meant underground (which was mistakenly translated from buried) was the stone tablets that controls the real treasure of the island, the Sandstar Rho filter.
All plot point were fucking answered except for Serval crying.
SeaWorld
My toilet overflowed. That's all.
It's okay, friend. I did the same while crying.
With Mirai being somewhere off the island, they will probably touch on that eventually.
>Ep1's Savanna is the place of origin for human and the first 7 episodes trace the path of humanity's evolution
>the actual animation aka when the characters are in motion is quite fluid.
I wouldn't say that. It's just no better or worse than most TV anime with occasional highlights, but people treat it like it's Musashi Gundoh or something. But this isn't a KonoSuba thread, so I'll refrain from talking about this more.
>the last comic that the extremely prolific fanwork translator friend has bestowed upon us before getting burnt out of typesetting
>THAT FUCKING ENDING
My hands are still red from clenching my fists in excitement.
I think some people are still hesitant to heap too much praise on it because they are still thinking "it is just some simple story with crappy animation, I can't really call this one of my favourites of all time without people mocking me. It can't stand up to the true masterpieces of anime the NGE, Cowboy Bebope and Serial Experiments Lain".
>Retrace Mirai's steps after she left
>She passed by hundreds of years ago
Now you really need to explain further
Looks like you're a Friend who's really good at getting butthurt.
The databook confirmed it's been only a few years since the park opened.
cried
>That fucking reaction she has when the bag falls
>Serval cling to the cerulean's leg
My heart
GuP also comes to mind with the points I presented but it isn't wholly accepted as a masterpiece. It's a good anime like KF, but not enough to be widely accepted as a masterpiece.
This. Or a tropical area. Didn't someone say something about more friends in the tropics recently?
>tfw this shit somewhat happened
Ah, well I jumped ship when spoilers came out. Have no idea what they were about still.
Since it's "new video production", yeah hard to say it's s2 or not, but hey, at least it will get something new that's for sure.
I want to impregnate loli Serval
Hyped as fuck, let out a loud "Yes!", and started crying a bit.
That's because western otaku are normalfags who can't enjoy fun or cute things.
Does Kaban get to bring friends?
Which Pe would you PaPu?
