Cardcaptor Sakura

Was it actually good, Sup Forums? Or are we just living off nostalgia?

It's kind of bland and tedious.

Just rewatched it 4 months ago.
It aged well in me.

But the heart crushing romance tale. The different outfits. The love dodecahedron.

Favourite bit? Least favourite?

Is Meilin an annoying cunt?

Should Sakura have gotten with Tomoyo?

Rewatched it recently. Mostly holds up.

How many people here actually watched it long ago enough for it to be nostalgia?
My point is it's not nostalgia.

Does 10 years ago count? When I was 15?

It was okay fap fuel.

Watched for the first time last year. 24 years old, No nostalgia. My opinion:

This until episode 39, then it becomes superb.

Watched it for the first time recently, so no nostalgia goggles here.
Still, loved it. Great characters (Sakura must be one of the loveliest anime girls ever, Tomoyo and Mei-lin are great too), nice story, good animation. Some bland and repetitive episodes here and there (I remember the one in the ice rink as particularly bad) but generally it was a solid ride.
I expected the movies to be redundant to the TV show, but they proved to be the best part of the franchise, specially the second one.

God, I don't know how they made Sakura such a good fucking girl.

>favourite bit
The Earthy

>least favourite
The padding in Sakura Card arc

>Is Meilin an annoying cunt?
No.

>Should Sakura have gotten with Tomoyo?
GOD YES. All I get was that Valentine's day drama cd.

Having never seen the English dub I don't have nostalgia. Also the English dub is bad. How did they manage to justify fucking up that much?

It's Precure-tier

This, I watched it in the last year and it was excellent.

Meilin best girl.

She is the cutest girl in all of anime.

Post some Sakura you fucking fags.

Yes. The anime is superb compared to the manga.

>Favourite bit?
Any scene with Syaoran being a doofus.
>Least favourite?
Anything before Syaoran was introduced.
>Is Meilin an annoying cunt?
No
>Should Sakura have gotten with Tomoyo?
No. Tomoyo x Meiling is superior ship.

I watched it on VHS fansubs, when the idea of it being dubbed was just rumours.

But this is not nostalgia talking; it really was a good show. There's plenty of other stuff from that era that I enjoyed at the time, but look at now and can't stand. But this, I liked it then and I like it now. It has stood the test of time.

I watched it as a kid 15 years ago.
