>no slice of life series based on the Evangelion characters >no war, no drama, just a romantic comedy with lots of otaku fan service
Would you watch one if they made one? Consider that nobody cares about the story for Rebuild of Evangelion, everyone just wants a harem of waifus and husbandos with tons of otaku fan service.
Perhaps after 4.0 fails or is cancelled, maybe that's what they do.
So you agree we should do it, the one thing that fujoshi and waifu-friends all agree on.
Gavin Foster
There's a manga for that if you want it. Eva's characters without their context just aren't the same characters.
David Smith
but the series ended long ago, they will always be their own thing. Look at Rebuild, its a half assed attempt of a harem with bad wring and giantic plot holes. They might as well go for a comedy slice of life. Nobody cares for Rebuild.
I'd like to see something by Khara devoted to Slice of Life.
Xavier Anderson
Congrats on missing the point of the show
Charles Ross
Asuka would win just like in the original since she is best girl and Shinji is heterosexual.
Nathan Baker
You want an adaptation of the Shinji Ikari Raising Project manga.
Samuel Rodriguez
I got the point of the show perfectly, but look at Rebuild. People only care about waifus, and that's what Anno should do if he wants to many $$$, not some rehashed story of the original.
Christian Robinson
That thing exist and its a visual novel already.
>Inb4, I would like "GF of Steel" being animated.
Jonathan Wood
Well in GoS, and Shinji Ikari Raising, they are still fighting angels and SEELE. I mean a setting where everyone lives normal lives, no mental issues, no PTSD, no Evangelions, just basically an extension of that Instrumentality dream.
Bentley James
Would pay lots of money to see a show like that. I care about the original story but I like the characters so much I'd just like to see them happy.
Kevin Walker
No I wouldn't and the fact that some people would is the reason why every evangelion thread is plagued with Rei/Asuka shitposting that tries way too hard to pass as ironic when deep down it clearly isn't.
Andrew Ramirez
It would basically be a comedy series would lots of otaku fan service, instead of being dark and serious. Very light hearted.
Well we have Rebuild which has otaku fan service, but its half assed and it hurts the story. Don't half assed it, go all the way. Time for a slice of life anime series of Evangelion!
Jonathan Hernandez
...
Kayden White
Shinji is in the same club with Asuka and Rei. Misato is the club advisor. Shinji spends a lot of time brushing their hair, getting stepped on and getting dressed up as a girl. Asuka bites Shinji repeatedly.
Xavier Ortiz
Wouldn't in a story like this he'd be stepping in so much pussy and ass, without even realizing it? That happens alot in high school harem comedy.
It would be nice if Shinji could get some backbone for a change and bully Asuka, make Shinji a chuunibyou.
Caleb Diaz
>It would be nice if Shinji could get some backbone for a change and bully Asuka
If he did that she would probably fuck him on the spot
Owen Davis
Nothing makes tsundere pussy more wet than bullying them.
Robert Moore
It would suck complete dick
Asher Torres
What makes evas characters interesting are they troubles and faults. If you take that away youre left with bland and boring pieces of shit with no reedeming qualitys
Elijah James
Nobody cares about that though, they only want pandering. Look at 2.22 and 3.33, and it executes it poorly while hurting the overall story and characters.
Andrew Thomas
What is the music
You're right though
James Lopez
Most Eva (that weren't introduced through Rebuilds) fans hate Rebuilds. Just because something else sucks dick doesn't mean this should
Jacob Smith
This sort of thing is dependent upon a pre-existing investment in the characters. You don't need to re-tell the same psychological story again. We just want to be pandered to.
Luke Martin
>Nobody cares for Rebuild. Isn't 3.0 like the best selling anime BD ever?
Blake Hughes
No Kaworu will win just like in the original
Alexander Sanchez
Yeah, Shinji loved Kaworu so much that he killed him and then went to jerk off to Asuka.
Isaac Reyes
Yeah, Shinji loved Asuka so much he tried to kill her twice
Way to take the scene out of context. Then Asuka proceeds to call him out for being a fake and he chokes her
Kevin Hughes
But That's B O R I N G
Hudson Brooks
Well, Anno announced back during the fall that Evangelion will continue to be a large part of Khara's outfit, so they will make more Eva. If they could make a good comedy series, I don't see why not. I'd rather something new with eva than retreading the same thing over again.
Jaxson Barnes
Yeah after she says "If all of you can't be mine I don't want anything of you" in the previous scene. They're both fucked up people but they clearly have feelings for each other.
Brayden Cook
I want Evangelion dead and buried already.
Angel Nelson
Its not boring, there has been alot of high school harem anime out there.
Connor Jones
It's more like they're just licking each other's wounds
Evan Murphy
That will never happen unless people stop buying waifu figurines and other eva merch.
Shinji and Asuka's relationship felt like one of those abusive couples, they were attracted to one another but they don't know what to do other than hurt each other. Electra complex and things like that.
Hudson Young
I want a SoL about whatever Shinji and Asuka do after instrumentality.
Adam Taylor
>Shinji and Asuka's relationship felt like one of those abusive couples, they were attracted to one another but they don't know what to do other than hurt each other.
I agree. At least they'll have a nice long time to try and work it out I guess.
Nolan Campbell
Slice of life with just Shinji and Kaworu Het shit can fuck off
Elijah Diaz
Don't say hetshit unless you want someone to tell you to go back to I agree though
Carson Morris
They need to work on their people skills, and get help for their PTSD. Asuka needs open her heart to others, not lash out; Shinji needs to stop being a baby and looking for mommy to pacify him. They both have that potential, but the other posses it. With a little bit of a push, the other could teach a few things.
Evan Russell
Yuri On Ice exists though, no need.
Aiden Lee
>They both have that potential, but the other posses it.
That was the point of instrumentality after all, for the weaknesses in people to be healed by the strengths of other people.
Liam Bailey
okay and?
Matthew Murphy
A copy pasta but with Evangelion characters would be boring. We need alot of moe!
Jose Perez
Wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a real thing, there's just too much money on the table.
