I want to start my own podcast where I talk about all the important issues plaguing our society

How should I start? What equipment do I need and How do I gain followers?

Soundcloud has always been my source for podcasts.
A stable internet connection, computer, and microphone is good. Also have outlets to communicate with someone else if you're doing a collab. (Sharpe Reality uses Google Hangout)
As for followers, simply shill here or have your friends spread the word. It's all about connections.
First off you need a microphone. If you also want to show your face on stream then you need a camera but if you have an Android phone you can just use that through DroidCam. Lastly download and learn how to use OBS (streaming software).

It might seem autistic but: record a few episodes and dont publish them. Listen to them and note things to improve. Re-record and repeat.

get acquainted with the discords is the first step. there's a bunch of them, and you're not always gonna have an easy time finding them.
shill your podcast there first to get your first few listeners. even 2 people is 2 more than most new podcasts.
if your shit's any good people will naturally tell other people to check you out. upload recordings to youtube soundcloud fuckin wherever you can. start shilling your youtube channel on your podcast, start shilling your podcast in rightwing youtube comment sections, especially if it's related to the video in question.
it's a bit annoying trying to start up (for everyone involved, you and the people who hate seeing people advertising everywhere) but if you end up being any good then you'll naturally get popularity over time, especially since the far-right community is pretty good at advertising each other once you get in.

I myself watch Joe Rogan from time to time when he has interesting guests on and isn't being a huge faggot, I would like to have something similar but to invite well known guests I need to have a popular podcast at the first place
Feminism and immigration seem like over saturated subjects maybe try something a bit different, but then again might not be too over saturated in German speaking podcasts and whatnot
Record your ramblings on Youtube and gain 5 subscribers a month, no one's gonna subscribe to a no-name website-based podcast, ever.
For example, there's this dude that has something to say and a long history of saying it in written form, Andy Nowicki, and he barely scrambles to get 500 people subscribe to his channel. He does full-time podcasts as well, as part of a larger network.
Also, German accents are more annoying than you think. I used to follow one German let's player on Youtube, I did find his mumbling amusing, but NO ONE fluent enough wanted to watch his videos.
Gotta have a clear attractive voice and one or two people to be regulars with similar but not the same views as to promote the flow of the debate or conversation.
Would also recommend having the other people be different nationalities.
