We have no coal mines, no oil pipelines, have the cleanest water in the country, you can drink the fucking rainwater, we're on our way to being 90% renewable by 2050, the skiing here is incredible, we have school choice statewide, some of the best healthcare, infrastructure, public safety (no dindus), and education overall.
Our birthrate is decreasing and there are job opportunities everywhere! Raise your family where you'll be safe from the coming doom of U.S. urban areas. Move to Vermont!

Dude Northern New England is a retirement home. The median age of Vermont is 43. That's higher than fucking Florida. There are no jobs and tax burden is high. New England has some of the highest property tax in the country.
Vermont is a great place to go on vacation and it's a nice scenic place for old people to retire to. Moving there as a young person looking to start a life and a family is just simply not viable though.
