This episode was quite bad, almost insultingly so. It's like they purposefully took the worst and most cliche parts of an anime episode, removed the scenes in between, and smashed it together.

Well the girls were great right off the bat but it was all down hill from there.
The animation was poor, there was no explanation as to why the undead didn't simply steal the treasure while he was running around inside the horde, The dumbass MC seemed completely unaware of the fact that cats can swim, and to make matters worse he couldn't even stay still and float in a fucking pool which nearly cost him his life. To make matters worse the author took the term dense MC too literally causing him to literally sink in the water despite the fact that everyone else in the world floats. Lastly nothing was tied together causing the story so far to make not even the slightest bit of sense.

The chinese are making more and more anime shows. Tencent Animation and others had subcontracted to create animation for japanese anime studios. And now that they are trained up, are making anime series of their own every season now. There's lots of chinese light novels and wuxia that can be animated.
