Why did it take this long for the anime to be actually good?

...

>Guy is nice enough to giver her a boost
>Leaves her filthy shoes on
>Doesn't let him feel her soft, brown soles pressed gently against his shoulders

This girl is a monster

I can't believe the background is simplified due to being animated. How terrible.

It was GOAT from first season.

>Easily pleased with lolis enough to excuse just another ordinary promotion season of a anime meant to promote a game franchise

Man, you guys have really low standards.

I left /vp/ STOP FOLLOWING ME

I can see what you mean, but when I see Suiren, Mao and Lillie I can't hate this show.

>Good
Enjoy watching Ash lose again.

>Caring about that little mexican brat
The lolis make this pile of shit bearable.

Lolis can't save Pokemon Anime anymore than May could.

It'll be more of the same up to the day of the Job.

They finally realized the potential of loli service.

When will those Poke-girls finally realize Ash is in love with Kiawe?

wth?

He can't lose every time.

More like why does it take this anime so long to get decent subs? Fuck you, I need my localized proper nouns

that moustache gets me every time.

He's all grown up.

Would've been saved if Chicken-chan was in this shit

Why don't we see more Rocket?

hasn't he always had those

The anime needs Chicken and Acerola.

>He can't lose every time.

Are you sure?

>Ash even more annoying than before
>the show focuses on Ash more than any season before and leaves the rest of the cast in background doing nothing
No, it's worse than ever. Fuck Pikachu. If that little piece of shit wasn't the mascot, we might actually have had a nice Pokemon anime with not shit characters.

Wtf do you saw at least one episode of SM???

He's clearly getting better, despite not aging.

You must be fucking joking, right? As someone who watched last time religiously Johto before ''growing up'' and forgetting Pokemon eventually, I came back to watch religiously weekly Sun and Moon anime because I fucking love Mao's and Suiren's design and characters as well the seiyuus, Lillie is good too.
Seeing these three and if it's any of the three's focused episode I'm enjoying myself a lot.
Really surprised to be honest given I've ignored Pokemon for a decade more or less but the Hawaii tropic setting and all with them colors help a lot with the comfy setting I enjoy. Also Megumi is Jessie's voice and I fucking love her voice from Slayers.

Positive.

Watching him get BURASUTO BAANed brings joy to my life. I hope he never wins. It's almost funny how 3 out of his 6 league lost league battles involve Charizard.

Literally would've improved the anime.

A bishi or cute male protagonist would improve the show much more than any loli ever could.

I really enjoyed XY for actually putting in the effort when it came to big action scenes, and making Ash competent again, I even liked the little romance thing it had going on. I was one of the few people who expected him to lose in the finals, because he had already come close to beating Alain in an earlier episode, but fuck I was still pissed they went in that direction. I was so mad that I welcomed Sun and Moon throwing everything about all the previous series out the window wholeheartedly. Bless SM.

>I even liked the little romance thing it had going on.
That was cute as shit, and the finale helped wash of some of the stench from the league loss

Admittedly hate Serena and everything about her except her fuckable design, but I also loved the romance subplot. It was nice.

>Admittedly hate Serena and everything about her
Why? She was adorable.

>except her fuckable design
Why? They aged her down which was horrible

She was boring? I already admitted I find her design cute. The rest was boring. Her personality, her team, her goal, her dialogue. Everything was boring. At least she wasn't aggravating like Iris, and I'm glad she exists for the romance alone, but that's it.

I don't disagree. Her game counterpart has much better design. Still, even if she can't even be compared to game Serena, her anime design wasn't bad by any means. It just wasn't as good.

I found her really sweet and relatable, particularly her relationship with her mom. Her goal was unique, and it was nice to see Pokemon get used for something besides battles for a change. The Contests in AG and DP TRIED, but they were a mess and ended up being little more than normal battles that made a halfassed attempt at acting like they were more than that. Especially in AG most of them were won by KOs, even.

I guess that's you, then. I don't care about a goal being "unique". It was boring to watch. As for Pokemon doing something besides battling, that's what they mostly do. The Pokemon in the anime spend more time not battling and doing random stuff. It's always been the case. Being "used' to do something else hardly changes that, and as I've made clear, I really did not care about what they were doing.

My point was that she had a goal that wasn't just "use my Pokemon to win Pokemon battles against other trainers". It was a very fresh take and I loved seeing them do something new.

Why the fuck are you still watching this

Is it weird that I've never played any of the games or bought any merchandise but have an enormous nostalgia boner for this anime?

>fresh take
Didn't Brock do literally that? He wanted to raise Pokemon, not battle. Both Brock and Serena rarely battled anyone besides Team Rocket. Just instead of dancing, he took care of Pokemon, making food for them and shit.

>Is it weird that I've never played any of the games
Yes. Yes it is. Play Pokemon SM. It's a better anime than the actual anime.

There's a difference between a real goal and a passive excuse "goal" that's just there explain that even though they just stand there in the background and dump exposition during battles, it's fine because their goal is to "observe Pokemon" or something else they "further" by just kind of existing.

Serena had a real goal with a real story to it, Takeshi and most of the other male companions just had excuse ones so they could act like he wasn't ACTUALLY doing nothing meaningful.

Agreed.

Why did it take this long for a main girl to finally be this good?

It's kind of a toss up who's main girl this time, Mao and Lillie both have traits of main girl. Mao gets the most screen time since she noses in to other characters' business but she doesn't do anything meaningful in any episode including her own. Lillie doesn't show up as often but when she does, she does more with her focus and we know she's incredibly important to future story events.

Would be cute to see yuri antics between her a Lillie.

>XY about to end
>Producers know Sun/Moon anime is next
>Based on a game with no Pokemon league
>This could very well be the last chance Ash actually could win a league
>WE GOTTA MAKE HIM JOB SO KIDS KNOW THAT LOSING IS OKAY

Still don't get why they couldn't make the Sun and Moon protagonist a new character, and have an older Ash take up a mentoring role.

Why are people still on this

The short answer? Technology and design philosophy.

hahahahahahaha

Why is this show suddenly pandering to lolicons?

>no Lusamine
>good

Her superior sexier 11 year old daughter is in it though

Where's best girl Serena?

At least they gave her a special segment in the anniversary special.
