When I first watched the first episode, I thought to myself I can listen to this little girl talking for hours and hours.
It was the first time I fell in love with the way a character talked and thought.
A big imagination.

Thoughts about Before Green Gables?
I just finished and have to say it was okay, not great. It definitely felt like fanfiction, Anne's traits were exaggerated in a Mary-Sueish way, she saves the lives of everyone she meets and everyone wants to adopt her (but can't for contrived reasons), and it lacked the natural progression of the original.
The director while not being Takahata did a good job, the backgrounds were gorgeous.
She was gay.
But she was born a century too early to realize it.
Do I make Anne or Les Miserables my first WMT? Considering I've just finished Les Mis the novel I've been very curious about checking it out.
Is it at least better than the Wolverine version?
Start with Heidi and go in chronological order.
