I would watch a season focused on Ride

HE GOT AWAY WITH E V E R Y T H I N G

>human debris defeating master lok
never ever

Mika's Gun puts the gun in freedom.

RIDE OR DIE!

Yeah, and? He brought large positive changes to the world. More so than anyone else. Complain all you want, he did bad things but ultimately ended up doing more good than most actually good people in the anime.

Good taste

thb this is a pretty bad end for him

Too bad we saw none of these good acts and the show just says it within the last few minutes because thy just needed to end it so sure.

>Rustal decided to reform GH off screen despite no build up to this prior much like how Asshime gave the EF access to her country's primary resource and everything is fine because the show says this.

HAHAHAHA

Would it have been better if it was a double wipe out?
Atleast all of tekkadan's senior members dying and rustal, gaelio, monkey and Iok dying as well.

I think Rustal "reformed" Gjallahorn simply to spite the other family heads being fence-sitters who refused to choose between McGillis and Rustal. Rustal basically made sure their shitty retarded kids aren't going to get to inherit ownership of all humans. We'll try that "democracy" shit (by democracy I mean a nice sham for the proles to believe in while true power goes into the hands of a bunch of cutthroat criminal gangsters. Oh, and Kudelia, but she plays ball.)

We know Rustal is a pragmatic man. There was absolutely no way he wouldn't reform Gjallarhorn after all the dirty laundry that was aired out after this failed revolution, nor the fact that roughly half of Gjallarhorn wanted reform enough to start said revolution. I mean, the entire war, Rustal made sure he was portrayed in the absolute best light through full control of the media. If he was going to be the sole dictator of Gjallarhorn, why the hell would he care what the general populace think unless he has very good reason like say being elected? This wasn't sudden, this was the only logical choice he can take if Gjallarhorn is to remain relevant and be accepted once more.

The slickest move any totalitarian pulls at the very end is by handing over the reigns to a democratic government.

If the regime that follows is a failure, they squander the faith that the great reformist leader handed to them

If the regime is a success, it makes the great former look like a prophet of a new enlightened age

Rustal might be the most savvy politician/military officer in all of Gundam. Probably because he didn't have to worry about horny ghost teens and their space/time warping psychic powers.

Gonna miss this hero.

>can't defeat a half dead man in a barely functional MS
He'll do better when he revives as a weaboo in Gundam Valhalla.

This. You can tell by his expressions in the end that he knows he's still in charge. Making GH democratic was just the smartest political move to make. Also getting rid of seven stars essentially consolidates his power even moreso.

Iok-sama used his life to give a suffering orphan true happiness before he died.

I hope we get a good season 2 of GBF. I want to see Vidar, Kimaris, and Bael get proper fights.

Nice copypasta

>Setsuna's outfit

Sasuga Sunrise

>Ride was Orga's favorite son
>he instinctively protected him
>their bond was so strong that Ride waited years for a chance to avenge him

Yeah, Ride was a good boy after all.

WILD RIDE

Exactly.
