So what scene are you most excited to see animated?

Last chapter is out, by the way.

every scene except the crab ones

The reencounter between Hachikuji & Araragi

whhyyyyyyy

tell her go back to her grave damnit

Everything Hanekawa related

Snail. I love anything with her.

Is this ACTUALLY the end of Monogatari? Or has Nisio pumped out more after this?

There's a couple of more books and a series of side stories.

She's in the grave now.
That's why we're jumping into hell to pull her out.
Our girl is coming home.

i wonder if possessed first year girl at the end will ever be relevant at any point i hope shaft makes her cute

Kiss-Shot dropping all pretense and cuddling Araragi like there's no tomorrow.

Nisio has "pumped" out 4 more books and announced the start of another major storyline.

>Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, who had regained her full form for the first time since spring break, was once again sealed inside my shadow as a harmless 8-year-old girl by the name of Shinobu Oshino.

>During spring break, she had been given no choice in the matter—but not this time.

>This time, it was of her own free will.

>She chose to seal away her own existence—and there was no lie or deception in that choice.

>She who had refused to become a god 400 years ago, 400 years later… made the choice to become a little girl.

>No, perhaps she really did have no choice in matter. After all, I, at the very least, can no longer envision a future without Shinobu in it.

>Of course, that doesn’t mean we’ve forgiven each other. Perhaps in 400 years’ time, there will come a day when we can forgive one another, and a day when we can forget about everything, but for now, call it complacency or call it compromise, call it collusion or call it clowning, that’s how it is between the two of us.

>“If you were to die tomorrow, I would be ready to end my own life tomorrow—and if you care to live for today, then so will I.”

>“If you were to die the day after tomorrow, I would live until the day after that—and I would tell someone else your story. I would proudly tell them tales of my master.”

specialists spin-off or sidestory fucking WHEN

Never ever.

I like black hanekawa.

Anything with Ougi desu.

As an Ougifag, 100% the confrontation between Ougi and Araragi in the Cram School.

The buildup was better than the actual confrontation.

I want to see Ougi scold Araragi for his actions and I want to see her upset at him, it feels like a really cute scene.

What is this the 7th season of this garbage?

A schizo yelling at himself isn't cute.

I guess having Ougi as my waifu would make me a degenerate, wouldn't it?

Ougi gets set free later on, but during that particular scene I really can't see it as anything but an extension of Araragi.

not any different than having your hand as a waifu

If my hand was Ougi I would.

Ougi is "free" but Koyomi Reverse and apparently Suruga Bonehead imply that they are still connected somewhat

>I finally reach my limit, lose the strength to support my own body weight, and crumple to the ground. Ougi-chan, forced to bear the full brunt of that weight, lets out a small “gweh.” Perhaps that utterly unattractive and true-to-life groan is proof of her existence

Mostly I just want to HEAR it but still.
Spook is cute

we failed to protect this smile

> I had clung to sweet dreams of dorm life, and living together with Hitagi at that, but considering that sister of mine, I doubt I can afford to leave home right away.

I want to see the snail and ougi stuff, don't really care about the crab shit.

Let me guess, you're a Batfag.

What a nice brother.

dont we get to meet kanbaru's mom?
i want to see what she looks like

Wrong book, bruh. You're thinking of Zokuowari not Owari 2.

Also you just know Tooe is going to have her face shaded just to spite us.

Though if Izuko is any indication of what Tooe looks like then she's going to have brown hair.

at least i'll get to see some snail

Snail is good too. Snail is everyone's friend.

>they won't animate Zokuowari
Fucking why

>Of course, that doesn’t mean we’ve forgiven each other. Perhaps in 400 years’ time, there will come a day when we can forgive one another, and a day when we can forget about everything, but for now, call it complacency or call it compromise, call it collusion or call it clowning, that’s how it is between the two of us.
Being this Tsundere. Sasuga Araragi

>Even without our bond, I knew that Shinobu, who answered that question with a gruesome smile on her face, had not uttered a single lie.

>“Of course, after successfully ridding his body of all its vampire elements, if my master no longer wishes to become a vague existence neither human nor vampire, I shall retract my wish. After healing that arm of his, I shall hide myself away in a mountain to live the life of a hermit.”

>“Not happening.”

>Before Gaen-san could respond, I spoke my piece.

>“There aren’t any Mister Donut stores in the mountains, Shinobu.”

>“Ah, true.”

Where did you assume this?

Hanekawa with bags under her eyes, enduring to protect everyone's smiles.

Shinobu and Oshino ought to give her proper respect now, heh. Praise the eternal iinchou.

They announcement for the new anime said they're animating Hell, Rendezvous, and Dark only.

For Owari season 2, they can do Zoku after Owari S2 as a small series like Hana/NekoKuro/Tsuki.

>“Nii-chan, Nii-chan. We won’t be able to flirt with each other anymore after I become a high schooler next month, so let’s try feeding each other mouth-to-mouth one last time!”
Reminder that these two lived alone together for a while.

He probably meant 12-13 episodes is enough for both with the average pacing of the adaptation. Owari 3 is as long as Owari 1 and that one got 7 episodes, and Zokuowari is shorter than Owari 2 which got the other 6.

>for a while
Tsukihi only JUST got back from overseas when Musubi takes place. It was a long time, like years. There is absolutely no way they didn't fuck.

Maybe now the one autist can stop bitching about Shinobu not offering to let Araragi live as a completely normal human.

>As I’m on my way to the classroom, walking side-by-side with Hanekawa… there stands Hitagi Senjougahara at the entrance to the school building. The moment she catches sight of me and Hanekawa, a frustrated expression briefly passes over her face, accompanied by a light “tch.” Looks like it just dawned on her that Hanekawa anticipated where she would be waiting and beat her to the punch.

>Hey, enough with the weird competitions between friends…

>It makes things awkward.

>Well, I figured that it would be hard to ever completely rid Hitagi of her complex towards Hanekawa, but still, given that Hanekawa has soared off to heights that neither of us could ever hope to reach, I personally think it would behoove her to let those feelings go bit by bit…

>Then again, I suppose I have no room to talk. I may talk like I revere Hanekawa, but if I created Ougi-chan, who holds such instinctive antipathy towards her, that means, deep down, there must be some part of me that sees her as a rival, too.

The moron admits it. He finally admits it.
Why is she so great?

Having Sodachi there probably forced them to cut that stuff out if anything too.

>people complain that Araragi shouldn't have saved her at the end of Tsubasa Tiger since it was Hanekawa's personal story
>even though not only is someone else intervening the norm in this series, but also Hanekawa goes onto to intervene and save Araragi at the end of the entire season which was Araragi's personal story yet this is apparantly fine
Fuck this character and the people who like her, man.

I don't think so. Araragi says both Tsukihi and Sodachi had terrible timing, so he must be still doing stuff to be caught. And maybe it's not a question of timing, but he doing it too frequently.

I dunno why but I assumed "terrible timing" meant that they kept succesfully interrupting them from going too far, what you're saying makes more sense though.

Anyone who company about either is retarded, because they promise in Nise to go anywhere in the world for each other if they were in trouble.

Hanekawa just takes that completely literally and just ends up as manly as Oshino said she was in Kizu. Now we just knows that he will be eternally butt hurt about Hanekawa, even if she will he a literal treasure trove of oddity stories by the time she turns 30.

Stay mad, Meme, stay mad.

They'd probably cool down by themselves after a while, it's not like they aren't occasionally alone and they even lived together alone later.

>some rando on Sup Forums made a dumb complaint, therfore the character sucks
Well that was a leap in logic.

>holding this much of a grudge that Oshino thought she could be fallible and didn't grovel at her feet

Muh heart

Oshino's issue with her is the exact opposite of that.

I ain't the one holding the grudge. The way Meme acts, I can only think of him having the most disgusted look on his face while she does crazy shit.

His neutrality tic blares off the charts around her. It's like a vampire being next to a priest with an uncontrollable holy aura.

How the hell could what Ougi was doing to her back in the Sodachi stuff be interpreted as "rivalry"?

Ougi herself calls Hanekawa a rival.

Not that user but you sound incredibly butthurt about Oshino and his opinions on Hanekawa and how people like Hanekawa tend to not be balancers.

His neutrality schtick is the proper way to deal with oddities. It stops them coming back because the person has to help themselves and as Oshino has pointed out, Hanekawa fixes problems too perfectly effectively not letting the weight of the issue sink in.

Being antagonistic. Trying to show off how she out-sleuthed Hanekawa. Trying to get Araragi to go with her rather than Hanekawa. That sort of thing.

Hanekawa ended up changing though, we already know she mothers people too much. That is why she usually is harsher than she was in the past, but is still herself. See her assessment of Nadeko in Koi.

So the new her is her allowing people to see the truth but still "guiding" to it. Observe closely the "hints" she gives compared to Ougi for the case with Sodachi's mother and what she told Sodachi about how she handled herself. The latter started out harsh, but then she said she would be over continually, helping out.

She strikes the closest to the sweet spot, given she ended up working the entire thing out, but didn't immediately tell Araragi that Ougi was his creation.

>but didn't immediately tell Araragi that Ougi was his creation.
She didn't know that at the time.

Araragi didn't need "hints", he and Sodachi just needed to be blunt. That stage of the problem was solved when they both started being blunt. Beyond preventing Ougi from going there Hanekawa didn't do shit until after the arc where she kept in contact with Sodachi, by nature of what the arc was about she was the third wheel there. Completely shits on the rest of the cast of that arc to say that "she ended up working the entire thing out".

>He finally admits it
He said way back at the beginning of the series that Hanekawa disgusted him. Hell Tsubasa Cat + Kizu + Neko Black covered everything we actually needed to know about their relationship moreorless (since obviously he didn't plan SS or Owari at the time), she's one of the several characters where Nisio just kept repeating the same shit over and over and billed it as new character progression for both her & Koyomi.

Pretty much this. Araragi is in constant state of denial about almost everything.

>that doesn’t mean we’ve forgiven each other
Yeah. You've only decided to stop giving each other shit and ignore any sort of "grudge" until you really need an excuse to not fuck each other's brains out.

I don't think Ougi's feelings towards Hanekawa were ever billed as "character progression" for Araragi. If anything, it was used to show that Hanekawa can feel ill will towards someone now, which was, in fact, a new development.

Atleast Shinobu has made good pregress and development with her relationship with Araragi. Shinobu is being really supportive and has shown that she realy understands Araragi.
>that doesn’t mean we’ve forgiven each other
>that doesn’t mean ''I'' have forgiven her
Shinobu has long since forgiven Araragi. the fact that she willingly wants to stay with him, is prove of that.

Yeah. Asking to be sealed again while still being mad over getting sealed the first time would be pretty strange. Then again, it's also pretty strange to hold a grudge over someone being suicidal after they've recovered and are ready to continue on with their life. Maybe it's the part where she was going to use him as an instrument of suicide, or maybe he's just saying stupid shit he doesn't mean again.

Araragi honestly never had a leg to stand on as far as "blaming" Shinobu goes. Every choice he made in Kizu was his own.

The character commentaries show it more overtly, but would probably have spoiled people on what Ougi is too quickly. Great respect can also contain great envy.

And even if his inner self has a rivalry with Hanekawa, it's shown in little things that Ougi does that the almost unearthly fealty he has toward her shines through.
