Directional Girl Compass Rose is in a pinch. In the middle of an important fight, of all places, the person she clashes with aims at her with what strength he has left. Rose makes a swift dodge, but she hears a deafening crack- the hit connected in her trinket, the Lovely Compass. At first she ignores it, but when she attempts to turn back after the battle is over, it goes on the fritz and leaves her in a mode between acting as a normal compass and being her otherworldly aide.
As she is experienced, her Compass has taken more wear and tear than it should, but she always takes care to keep it in as close to perfect condition as she can. But with it now broken, she wonders what she can do now with it. Its abillities don't work quite rigt, some parts combine, someties she gets stuck between transformations and ends up in a half-state. She's not entirely sure if she can replace it. What will she do?
With some aid, Rose begins to learn about the structure of her Lovely Compass and how its magic is interpreted through it. As she travels, she learns about its patterns and what tools she will need to possibly make her own if push comes to shove.
