Kino doesn't even sell that well too, friend in Japan said it stopped being popular in the late 2000's and not much of his younger students even knows about it. Im thrilled it gets a new anime, hopefully younger people will get to know it.
Still, Kino has source materials with a small but passionate fanbase and the people working on DTB has moved on to other projects, finger crossed we'll at least get an OVA.
