After researching medieval fighting and conditioning techniques, I can't really enjoy knight manga anymore.
Knights were basically completely OP, the tanks of the medieval battlefield. Hollywood and media tells us they were dunces in armor and could be easily beaten by a "dirty fighting thief", but the fact is, they were beyond the level of today's Olympic athletes. However, their sport was "killing people".

I know this and Wolfsmund can get silly at times but there are definitely scenarios where knights get absolutely shat on, such as the rebellion depicted here, Agincourt or Legnica.
