Because I started with the manga and the prospect, at first, sounded hype as shit. I was imagining him trying to walk-through his way through life and being hit by the cruel reality that is being an adventurer.

Instead, I got battle harem and the most boring magic system in the entirety of Isekai.

I actually like how he actually uses his brain (or his CPU) to battle monsters using common items dispensed on Japan's vending machine. You see the creativity of the author with every fight he is involved as well as an added bonus of the natives having to figure out what to make out of the machine's items.

It is not only comfy and cares a lot about both its characters and the setting (even if its gamey-as-fuck) but there's consistency and the prospect of a fucking vending machine of all things being the MC of all things is kind of neat.

And either they fall to obscurity, never get translated and/or Nips have shit-taste enough that anything awesome for us turns shit in their eyes and thus it gets trashed like Sup Forums trashes, say, Naruto for instance.
