>Iran slams ‘grotesque’ meddling and calls for regime change by US through social media

Iran’s Ambassador to the UN Gholamali Khoshroo has accused the US of “grotesque” interference in his country’s affairs, and of encouraging regime change in the Islamic Republic. He also accused Trump of inciting “disruptive acts.”
As a wave of protests against poor worsening standards and unemployment gripped Iran, Washington was quick to throw its support behind the demonstrators. US President Donald Trump praised the riots “against the brutal and corrupt Iranian regime,” and said that the US was closely watching the situation.

>US Envoy Nikki Haley even vowed to call for an “urgent” UN Security Council (UNSC) meeting on Monday to discuss the situation in Iran. No such meeting has been yet scheduled.
Tehran has continued to fire back at the US stance. Khoshroo condemned the American administration’s “acts of intervention in a grotesque way in Iran's internal affairs.” The ambassador said that Washington had meddled in Iranian domestic affairs under the pretext of support for the rallies, “which in several instances were hijacked by infiltrators to include acts of senseless homicide.”

“The current US administration has crossed every limit in flouting rules and principles of international law governing the civilized conduct of international relations,” Khoshroo said in a letter to the UN, cited by Tasnim news agency on Thursday.

>what is shitposting

So if the SAA manages to connect the Benis's and cuts the FSAs enclave in half will the FSA attempt to launch a counter attack or will they just fall back to idlibistan?

whenever I get sora annoyed by him I remember this actually happened to him so I become more tolerant and see the need for him to sort of "vent" out.
I do feel sorry for him sometimes.

>the usual bakers failed us

>Implying we have to babysit until bump limit
Baking is not that hard, especially if you are not updating OP or maps, the Galician faggot is just a dumbfuck.

>Somebody somehow managed to hit Su-24 with small-calibre AA guns

The only anti-aircraft guns Syrian rebels have are ZPU and ZU-23-2. Former is 14.5mm and latter 23mm. It probably was ZU. I know they previously destroyed some helicopters with these guns.

>Pakistan promises 'cold-blooded' response to Trump’s abrupt aid cut

Islamabad has warned Donald Trump against endangering US-Pakistani cooperation in Afghanistan, promising a “cold-blooded” response to Washington's aid cut. The US carried out some 60,000 attacks from Pakistani soil, it said.
In a seething series of tweets, Pakistan’s foreign minister ripped into Trump’s accusation that Islamabad has double-crossed the US in Afghanistan, noting that Pakistan “went through a bloodbath” after “blindly” trusting Washington.

“You ask what we’ve done? From our bases you carried out 57,800 attacks on Afghanistan... thousands of our civilians and soldiers became victims of the war initiated by you,” Pakistan’s foreign minister Khawaja Asif wrote.

Citing Pakistan’s “unending saga of sacrifices” in the fight against terrorism, Asif wrote that “history teaches us not to blindly trust the US… [we] will not compromise our dignity anymore.”

Defense Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan echoed Asif’s defiant tone during an interview on Thursday, vowing a “cold-blooded response” to Washington’s stated intention to withhold $255 million in aid to Pakistan, as cited by RIA Novosti.
>Speaking earlier with BBC Urdu, Khan said Washington ought to “prefer” cooperation over confrontation, noting that half of Pakistan’s airspace and land routes were still open to the US – and without them, its ability to operate in Afghanistan would be greatly diminished.

Describing Pakistan as an independent nuclear power, the defense minister said it was not possible for Washington to dictate terms to Islamabad by withholding aid, and warned the US against any attempt to bring the war in Afghanistan to Pakistan’s soil.

>‘I was firm & strong’: Trump claims credit for N Korea talks with Seoul
US President Donald Trump is taking credit for the apparent thawing of diplomatic tensions between South Korea and North Korea, stating that his “firm and strong” stance has enabled talks.
The governments in Seoul and Pyongyang have technically been at war for nearly 70 years since the end of the Korean conflict divided the peninsula. But the warring nations exchanged messages for the first time in two years via a hotline on Wednesday.

A ‘hotline’ communication channel between the two administrations was reopened this week, having fallen silent in January 2016. It follows Kim Jong-un’s New Year address, in which he said that the two countries should “lower the military tensions on the Korean Peninsula to create a peaceful environment.”

>Trump, who has openly traded insults with Kim and once suggested North Korea’s long-range missile program should be met with “fire and fury,” tweeted on Thursday that his approach to the delicate situation had fostered an environment for talks.

Hitting out at “failed experts,” Trump asked if the recent communication between North and South Korea would really be happening without his involvement. “Fools, but talks are a good thing,” the US president added.

>Video shows reporter injured while covering war in Syria
In an interview on Thursday, Sayed said a particle from a nearby blast entered his nose. He said he required 50 stitches in his head and surgery for a broken leg.

Orient News blamed Sayed’s injuries on shelling in the Eastern Ghouta area, an opposition enclave, on Tuesday.

Orient News is a Dubai-based, opposition-aligned television station reporting on the conflict in Syria. Sayed said it has bureaus in Washington, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and throughout Syria.

>Russia Confirms Syria Attack But Denies Seven Aircraft Got Destroyed As Photos Emerge

Russian Ministry of Defense has acknowledged an attack on its Khmeimim air base in Syria, but has disputed key details from an initial report, denying that seven aircraft had been destroyed in the incident. At the same time, unconfirmed pictures have begun emerging on social media showing significant damage to at least one Su-24 Fencer attack plane.

On Jan. 4, 2017, the Russia’s Ministry of Defense, by way of state-run media outlet TASS, said militants had attacked Khmeimim, also known as Hmeimim or Hmeymim, and killed two Russian service members in the process. The Kremlin did not say if there were any other casualties, but insisted that earlier reports that the assault had destroyed seven aircraft were categorically false.

STOPPPPP THIS REEEEEEEEEEEDDDIT POSTING SHIIIIITTTT

hahaha fucking muslims cry me a river. there is no such thing as "international law"

After all these regime advances in Hama people is asking me, "Countryside General, why is the FSA losing? What happened to the promised Aleppo and Hama offensives?"

Patience my fellow revolutionaries. In battles of one sided firepower balance such as this one, retreat is inevitable. Remember that despite massive Iranian intervention the SAA was still collapsing. The Russians may buy time using scorched earth policies, but they cannot solve the fundamental demographic contradiction that has doomed Assad and his likes in the past.

In a classical Maoist people's war, it does not matter whether victory takes one year or fifteen years, as the outcome is already assured in the favour of the revolution. The rebels have what the Russians will never achieve in a thousand years: staying power. They are going nowhere. And if they lose, their sons will pick up the flah after them. Then their grandsons. And so on.

And to those lamenting the failure of capturing Hama, I promisw you the liberation of Homs. To those crestfallen over the fall of Aleppo, I guarantee you the FSA will raise its flag over central Damascus. This is not a hope or a dream, it is a science. Assad will fall. It has been decreed by the science of humanity.

Onwards, comrades. Help the FSA win the war. Invest in al Bab, Idlib, Nawa. What is based in a Latamiyah today will represent Syria on the international scene tomorrow.

Your BPC is only for Polish girls, we get it

well this is just a hunch, but NK being a meme, as in any international action they take (including actions towards SK) are not controlled by NK. They're still dangerous, but not in the sense that they're out of control. In the sense that they can be used as catalyst for war

muzzie thread number 403240938 is a go!

It's not about Samsung, it'd shit up the entire peninsula for a decent while. And then when the counterattack comes and Norks get fucked, all those refugees will pour into SoKo. Refugees who are useless for South Korea as they will take a generation to unfuck, and even then it might not work. See: Nork enclave in Nipponia.

>falling for (((self improvement))) meme

Inshallah

the russian base got hit by mortars ... 6 su 24 , 1 su35 got damaged . pretty bad if you ask me

Aka the mortar strike on hmeimim.

>Iran Regime Re-Deploys Fighters From Syrian Civil War to Subdue Protests

The Iranian Regime has redeployed fighters from the Syrian Civil War, like the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMUs) and Afghan mercenaries, to quell the ongoing anti-regime protests that are happening across Iran.

Sources in Ahvaz, southern Iran, told Al Arabiya that the PMUs are joining Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and suppressive security forces in the streets of Abadan and Khorramshahr and in Al-Thawra neighbourhood in Ahvaz.

Amad News, a website owned by the Iranian opposition, broadcast on one of its Telegram channels that the IRGC has also deployed thousands of Afghan mercenaries from the Liwa Fatemiyoun branch to the city of Khomeyni Shahr in Isfahan.

Ahvaz

In Ahvaz, there are calls to protest every night, when the suppressive security forces are deployed around banks and police stations, but relative calm during the day.

Although it is worth noting that the authorities are forcibly closing shops in the city’s central souq (market) at 3 pm and prevent anyone from entering it afterwards.

The sources even told Al Arabiya that the security forces were planting mines around military barricades that contain arms’ ammunition to kill any demonstrator that got too close.

On Wednesday, January 3, one person was arrested for handing out pamphlets calling on people to protest.

This never gets old.

yeah "mortars" a definitely not some drunk russians celebrating new year

Counter-protests

The Iranian Regime has banned foreign media and even blocked off internet access in some places to prevent news from getting out, which means that many in the West are being treated to a very sanitised version of events with only the Regime’s word on death tolls and the level of protesters.

On Wednesday, the Regime even organised counter-protests (read: paid people to hold up pro-regime signs long enough to get the pictures out) with Hawza students, Basij and Revolutionary Guards members and public employees.

These people, who would probably lose their jobs or be kicked off their course or worse if they refused to participate, chanted slogans in favour of the Regime and against the protesters, who they referred to as “those inciting strife”.

Notoriously paranoid, anti-American Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei even accused “enemies” of the regime for inciting these protests. He meant to imply that the US had somehow convinced tens of thousands of people to rally against the Regime but through his ambiguity, he may have hit the nail on the head.

The enemies of the Regime did start these protests, because the Iranian people are opposed to the Regime.
