They will miss the entire point of the show, that the gags were often clever and the jokes often targeted above the heads of kids, and make it a wild zany flash based cartoon that's politically correct.

It's funny to think that the final product was actually strongly toned down from the initial design of having a very prominent bust and being a borderline rapist.
Speaking of which, I did like how they had her freak out over sexy male characters the same way the guys would freak out over babes, that one episode with the werewolf hunk could never be done today.
It wasn't. The first arc was decent, the rest was nonsense. My biggest pet peeve is why would Jack have qualms about killing humans? He's a god damned samurai not to mention he traveled the world and has fought humans in the service of Aku before.
The new Ducktales is OK-ish. It's not amazing and it's not trash. It's something that you could watch as an adult and not actively dislike or feel crazy about continuing watching on your own, just tolerable kid stuff.

Although, they have never really been good at making culture.
