One criticism I always found weird is people complaining about the pacing. Usually I'm the one who complains about pacing but found E7 to be just fine in that regard. Maybe because I had just finished Last Exile season 1 and everything seems fast after that.

Speaking off - I always thought it's strange people saying it's an Eva ripoff when it felt more like a Last Exile ripoff.

When Miyazaki exists and E7 is often compared to Evangelion for no real reason. I think there's no way it's even as known as either of those. Great way of starting a thread on it though.
