What anime have you watched with your parents?

What anime have you watched with your parents?
Did they liked it?

I'm about to watch Death Note with mom after mentioning the upcoming movie and ask her to watch some episodes with me, did I fucked up?

too embarrassed to watch it around anyone

...

Mostly Toonami stuff and Trigun since we only had one tv.

>still living with mom
No, but posting it on Sup Forums is not such a good idea. Mine have watched a bunch of entry level shows and enjoyed them.

>watching anime with parents
The closest thing to that was watching Kiki's delivery service with my okaa-san and she thought she was a qt3.14 and she even wished I would get a cute little gf like her when I was 8 years old back then
Hah!

Kudos to those Anons that have real good p/a/rents and don't give that disappointment look on you.

Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood and the old one) & Death Note

I showed them the first episode of "Beelzebub"
Not the smartest move i ever made to be honest.

Yuru yuri, my dad liked it

me and my parents watched doraemon all the time when i was a kid

my parents also showed me a bunch of miyamoto films that I wasn't mentally prepared for because of 1) the gore and 2) I didn't understand nip so I didnt know what the fuck was going on at all times. At least with doraemon you could kind of get the jist of it and it was short as well as episodic.

They'll watch whatever i have on the TV when i'm home and using it. They usually just look then leave but sometimes they actually like the shows. My mom really liked Kemono Friends.

last time my father caught me watching anime, he belted me. this was at 19

I watched "3000 Leagues in Search of Mother" with my mom in a local tv channel when I was six.

It really made me feel close to her.

why would i watch anything with my parents?

i watched redline with my parents. not much of a reaction.
my dad said it reminded him of speed racer.

I tried to make Mom watch Fullmetal Alchemist but she said it was boring.

Are you underage or something?
Your linguistic capabilities point to it too.

I watched this with my mom.
It made both of us cry.

Watched the first Ghost in the Shell movie with my parents ages ago. That is to say they happened to be in the room when i was watching it. They seemed a bit disturbed by nudity in an animated feature. Not so much by the violence though oddly enough

doraemon every sunday morning when i was a kid

i think your okaa-san wanted you to get molested by an older woman
if you catch my drift

-Lots of movies; pretty much any anime movie with romantic elements I will watch with my mom

Mostly we watch KDramas or Doramas together, including anime adaptations (or manga rather) like Hana Yori Dango (amazing), Liar Game or Full House. Its a lot of fun then again me and my mom are very close and I love sharing my hobbies with my loved ones including anime. If only I could get my fiance into it....

I'm ESL.

>normalfag blog thread
Fuck off and kill yourself.

This. I constantly recommend stuff to my roommate who doesn't really like anime but then when he asks me to watch it with him, I always make up some excuse and go back to my room.

I can't bring myself to watch anime with others, even those that like it.

He's an ESL. Like half of Sup Forums.

My parents liked Your Name.

I showed my parents Prisma Illya.

Me and my mom watched TTGL together.
It was a fun, but it took a lot of convincing.
Now she won't watch anything else, saying anime is not for her and it was a fluke that she enjoyed ttgl.
Also she said Kamina was hot.

>Also she said Kamina was hot.
