How would you rewrite Part 5's ending. Starting from where Polnareff meets Bruno and Doppio
JoJo Thread
Reminder Joseph is best jojo soley because of this.
Also proves Gappy is worst jojo
...
Oops wrong pic
To prove further how based Joseph is an how low test cucky Gappy is:
Why rewrite something that's already perfect?
Have Diavolo stay Doppio forever and Giorno becomes the new bossu because the current bossu cannot be found.
I wish I could shrug off utter horseshit like this
Gold Experience counters King Crimson because they're the same type of Stand.
The thing is that Araki could've easily expanded on the Part 5 ending if he wanted to, he easily could've dragged out the final battle and he could've easily given more closure to the story of he wanted. Araki just specially chose not to.
He had an entire volume left to work with by the end of Part 5 and decided on filling it with the "Sleeping Slaves" epilogue. Whatever Araki planned for the ending battle was final, it wasn't due to time restraints or anything like that. People complain that GER one-shotting Diavolo was rushed but it was just Araki's story choice, however strange it was.
He probably wasn't scrounged for time to complete Part 5, but his depression probably lead to some questionable story choices (Fugo being the one everyone talks about)
For someone who usually always did a fantastic job concluding the Parts even the lol ending that was 2 still felt particularly climactic it seems less like he was being rushed, rather he was rushing himself to conclude the story just to get it over with. Probably always had Sleeping Slaves planned, but as it stands the finale of Part 5 has a hollow, empty feeling and not really in a good way. Story just stopped completely, not concluded
>tfw missed all the part 4 anime shitposting on Sup Forums because decided to wait for the BD release which has most of the ass looking animation redrawn and fixed
Fuck you davidpoo
You really think endings need to be climatic to be good? Come on. Part 5 has the best anticlimactic ending on a battle manga out there, it trumps Quimera Ants and YYH easily and is also miles ahead of quite a few Jojo endings.
Araki played with your expectations, and did so by telling you exactly what was gonna happen, you're just mad because it didn't end the way you wanted.
>fixed
Well, I fail to see your implication
Cause your related pic is the reason why I decided to wait for the BDs
That made me avoid the part 4 threads on here as the anime was airing
On the plus side, that forced me to read the manga so I guess something good came out of it
>You really think endings need to be climatic to be good?
What the fuck
Stop sucking araki's so much
You're literally gargling in his cum you fucking autistic faggot
Good point.
it's barely fixed at all
A shit ending is almost guaranteed to ruin so much of what made the story work. That's why tons of people will judge a fantastic movie negatively because the very last moment left everyone with a bad impression of it. Makes you feel like you wasted your goddamn time
Don't care if it's not the ending I wanted, Part 2's climax was bad in my opinion but it gave a conclusive ending and not, "and then Giorno won and we'll never see him again" in a single goddamn page
Killer queen's face and emblems on hand/shoulder have been fixed
What would say 2 did better than 5? The epilogue?
I don't know about you, but triumph and victory were the things I felt the most during the conclusion of 5. Not just on that last spread, Sleeping Slaves and the ending to SCR were all about Bruno and the gang's absolute success, even if it cost them their lives. Giorno becoming Don is just the icing on the cake, showing that his, and Bruno's, dream have been turned into reality.
There is no point into spelling out stuff like "Giorno put an end to drug traffic" . They did it, the goal was achieved and Giorno will carry Bruno's legacy and kindness, that's all you need to know.
It concluded Joseph's Bizarre Adventure. After the fake out ending it establishes what happens to the characters and sets up for Part 3. Parts 1, 3 and 7 personally have the absolute best endings of the series because they actually feel the most conclusive to their character's arcs, while reasonably leaving room for the adventure to go onward
Sleeping Slaves didn't add to Bruno, it added to Mista and fit the themes of the Part but Bruno's entire character had already been established from his meeting with Giorno to his death. If the ending was supposed to be the conclusion of Bruno's character arc just to take away from Giorno even more and make the faggot even less of the main character then sure, it's a good ending but it makes Sleeping Slaves feel less necessary
It's a mess really. Requiems were just a poor device that took away from any personal meaning Giorno or Diavolo had to the story
And so does Part 5's. Gio's Adventure is concluded, and everyone's arc is too. The only thing it doesn't do is set up SO, which is comprehensible considering there was a hiatus between the two.
I do agree 1 and 7 have better endings. They're great, not that fond of 3's tho.
Yes, Bruno's arc concludes in SCR, but Sleeping Slaves concludes Mista and explains a lot about what happened to Bruno in Mystery, and how struggling before a seemingly undefeatable fate is possible.
Well, sort of, I see Bruno as much of a main character Gyro was, he and Giorno are complementary. Both inspired absolutely trusted each other, and that's how they were able to achieve so much. Giorno concludes the moment Bruno passes the arrow to him, and so does Part 5, in a way.
No way they are complimentary. SBR becomes Johnny's story while VA becomes Bruno's story with Giorno taking a back seat the whole adventure except with someone bringing up that he has good charisma from time to time. It's horribly balanced and Bruno comes off as eons more charismatic and respectable to the team due to actually interacting with them. Not the inane shit like everyone being retarded so Narancia has to think highly of Giorno or Spice Girl telling Trish she's gotten so strong because of Giorno when she's just picking up the deus ex machina hand
But that kind of ties into why the ending just doesn't cut it for me. Protagonist wasn't the main character, story just stops when a real epilogue would've been better to actually give real closure to the remaining characters Narancia's death in particular was very unnecessary. Doesn't have to be a volume, but a chapter would've worked better. Not a single page
Post stands you still don't fully understand
>inb4 king crimson
If you actually need the explanation here it is
If there's a comic that has three panels in it and in the second panel the character is shot and third is the character dead, king crimson(by using epitaph) sees this happen and deletes the second panel which stops the character from being shot therefore he is still alive in panel 3
Honestly I still don't understand White Snake's room digestion ability. Or how C-Moon's gravity aged that baby and eggs
Really Pucci's Stand just seems to pull a lot of bullshit out of its ass
>Really Pucci's Stand just seems to pull a lot of bullshit out of its ass
yeah
another example is that one part where Pucci just compresses his head during the C-Moon fight & surviving that
or when he's just able to donut people while disguised as WR, pretty OP
Ok so straight up whitesnake straight up has 3 abilities:Disc, mind control, and that weird acid shit.
Do you not understand how it works or why he has it?
And for c-moon I need to see what specifically you're talking about.
Also how did C-Moon allow Pucci to move and see in stopped time?
If I remember correctly jotaros time stop was useless because time was going so fast.
That was AFTER he got Made in Heaven. Pucci moved his eyes in stopped time and dodged that spear when he was floating into the air which was when he still had C-Moon.
Do you know what chapter it is?
Whitesnake was such bullshit..
>this is a long range stand
>Implying this isn't a fix
It's not the classic great KQ design but at least it's not a complete joke like it was in the TV version.
>Those fucking emblems.
never forget
The Killer Queen redesign is slightly less shit, but Kira is utter garbage in both
C-Moon Part 8, just as Pucci is about to get MiH.
From what I see the spear was thrown when Pucci had made in heaven.
Nah, Pucci gets MiH literally a few pages after that. See chapter 742.
Sadly, at least at the end of the day the episode had some pretty good looking shots, it wasn't the mess the Aylmao episode was. Think that ep might have the most BD fixes in the part so far.
What did you expect since davidpoo is in charge of this shit
They've been constantly fucking up by outsourcing the animation to gooks and censoring shit left and right to shill their BDs, not to mention omitting whole fucking scenes
Thank fuck they hired a proper director for part 4 cause the adaptation for the first three parts look more likea fucking motion comic than a proper anime
Not to mention the influx of cancerous animeonly fags who jumped on the jojo bandwagon because of this shitty adaptation
Calm down Naranciafag.
Season 1 anime is the only real way to experience Part 2 enjoyably desu. Stardust Crusaders though, THAT was a disappointment
Also shilling BDs is one of the few ways to make bank due to how the anime industry works. It's really fucked, you can't just have an anime out there unless it's a guaranteed success. Nothing like Western animation and its shitty hiatuses. It should be common knowledge for people on Sup Forums about how strict the anime industry is otherwise nobody will probably enjoy anything produced
Okay so I skimmed through the c-moon arc and looked everywhere for an explanation is that c-moon is a combination of the world and whitesnake so perhaps it retained some immunity to the timestop much like how jotaro slowly built an immunity in his fight with DIO other than that araki never explains it(to my knowledge).
DIOs bone allowed Pucci to invade his world.
That's what I'm saying,DIO's bone gave him the powers of the world. But he combined it with whitesnake.
>Opens the window instead of closing them like they usually do in the ending of a mafia movie.
>Mista now has his gun on the back instead of the front.
>Giorno doesn't look thrilled having old mafia dons kissing his hand. Probably even less thrilled when hearing them talk as well... He'd rather eat a pizza or pickpocket at some tourist trap.
>Polnareff probably never told Giorno about Dio if he ever saw that picture in Giorno's wallet..
>Giorno still wears his school uniform although it has more embroidery and details. He probably either stopped going, hired tutors, or has some fixed schedule like they do in college.
>Trish was never seen again.
>Jotaro wussed out and never bothered to contact Giorno once Koichi returned from Italy.
>Passione probably became Giorno's equivalent of the SWF. He never bothered to change the name.
>Giorno probably became even more introverted but somehow remaining "charismatic" at social functions. Only expresses true emotions when around Mista and Polnareff.
The end scene seems to fit with VA but at the same time it felt empty and hollow like another user said. I wish they could have done more for Giorno or at least expand a bit of the ending rather than keeping it quiet, but oh well.
Should Doppio have lived?
He had absolute loyalty to Bossu and admittedly only lived to be his tool, unless you bitch slapped him so hard that he forgot everything he would commit suicide.
He did deserve a normal life at least if you put aside that he's literally chibi Diavolo. The poor kid just wanted to be a sailor.
JJL has some of the best stands.
>that's_bullshit_but_I_believe_it.jpg
Don't think naranciafag and antidavidfag are the same
So which jojo character won the super power victory when it comes to stands?
Diavolo probably has one of the most powerful stands for 1v1 combat
>super power victory
I meant super power lottery
Giorno
Future prediction is such a bullshit power to write because any time he gets hit it's just "why didn't he predict it"?
Chimera Ants is anticlimatic because it follows a theme, that of complete inability to solve some problems in the world unless it's with bombs and the explanation of why Nen isn't universally strong.
There was no such theme that required an anticlimatic end in Vento Aureo.
The must OP boi Jotaro
S&W is the cutest for his round eyes and long ear
does the blu ray have english subtitles?
so if the stand reflect the users souls
what does that say about the villains?
No.
>Pucci is black
>His stand steals from other people
hmmmmmm
diavolo conquered his past so he got a stand where he can control his future
...
>stand name is white snake
damn really makes you think
This is now a Joushuu thread. Post your Joushuu pics, tell me why Milagro man is the best arc, or even tell me why Joushuu is better than Gappy.
>'Oh no he can predict the future for 10 seconds oooooh noooo how will we ever beat him'
>Shoot 11 seconds worth of bullets at him
>He's dead
Heroes: Giorno or Jotaro
Villains: Pucci and Diavolo to an extent
Rank the Jojos from a writing standpoint
Jolyne/Johnny>Gappy>Jonathan>Josuke>Jotaro>Joseph>Giorno
This is now a Koichi thread
Won't work. You have to produce a giant bullet storm first, meaning you have to shoot everywhere at once for 11 seconds because obviously if you shoot at his general direction he will just move so you'll have to guess where he will appear after the skip and what makes you think he won't just pop out behind and donut you? You're dead either way, kiddo.
Fuck off
You know how retarded that sounds, right?
Here's a (you) for the collection
Ok!
r8 my doughnut steel female lead
>freckles
>megane
He's one of my favorite characters but people always think I'm joking when I tell them that
WHAT THE FUCK
DELETE DIS
Tell me about JOUSHUU NOW !!!
No, he's obsessed with deleting his past so that he doesn't exist in the normal world. That's why he gets to be the only one to exist in the deleted world.
Why did Jotaro send Koichi to Italy? I'm assuming he didn't go himself because he figured Dio's son might know what he looks like, but was Koichi just the most loyal stand user he knew and could trust to check things out without fucking everything up?
More importantly, he's the only one to remember the "erased" time. Diavolo is obsessed with deleting his identity, not his history. He's a paranoid schizophrenic and if nobody knows his identity then King Crimson basically makes him undetectable and invincible.
It wasn't that hard, and he stands out way less than a tall, built half-jap.
>Diavolo is obsessed with deleting his identity
Why though?
Valentine sees himself as disposable, especially if it's for the greater good. So he gets a stand that lets him throw himself away for another version if things get hairy.
Pucci wants absolute control of any situation, so he gets a stand that lets him set things up how he wants by manipulating people's stands and memories. Eventually it allows him to basically become god and shape the world how he chooses.
Diavolo wants to live in absolute secrecy, so he gets the ultimate stealth stand for taking people out undetected.
Kira's is the most obvious. No evidence, perfect murder weapon.
DIO gets the most powerful stand because he refuses to show weakness, both as promise to his mother and after training his resolve at the bottom of the sea for 100 years.
Probably did so many drugs that he developed severe paranoia. He's also a mob boss so anyone who knows who he is will be out to get him.
Because he fucked his mom's goats
>implying diavolo did drugs
He had a healthy liver, no doubt that he also had a healthy brain and was a completely straight edge and healthy man.
Sorry Doppio, our role models aren't always the people we think they are.
>implying Jolyne doesn't have a massive cock
delet this
What would Diavolo's brain look like
>repressed sexual trauma
>split personality
>morphing into a paranoid nut job
>10 or so years of paranoia worsening from being a recluse
TELL ME !!!
I don't think his paranoia got worse from being a recluse, more like he became devoid of emotion and morality.
Just look at this scene. He can't even fathom that he ever did this.
That was a callback to Jotaro vs Dio, only the roles are reversed now. It's a meta-narrative way of adding suspance and estabilishing the threat that Pucci had become.
