The show was alright, loved the OP. Surprised it sold enough to get anything else though.

It's more surprising that it got anything considering the average sales will be around 700-800 BDs

It's probably not the anime that prompted this.

It was probably all the other things the VAs did that established enough of a niche fanbase for new material to be made for it. People just wanted more of the characters fucking around. Remember that Chitose's VA got voted as best amateur seiyuu in that one rigged as fuck award show.
