Treason is betraying your country. Taking it over so you can fix it's problems is patriotism.

The only issue I take with Sasuke's story is that Sakura forgave and married him despite everything he had done, just because she had a crush on him when she was twelve, and only for him to leave her and their daughter for TEN (10) whole years.

The worst thing that can happen to a person in a war is their entire family dying. If my family's choice is starting a war and maybe coming out of it better off or waiting around and being killed off because they're a 'threat', there is really no reason not to start a war.

A country that kills it's own citizens out of fear of their inability to be controlled isn't worth being loyal to.

I can agree with that, but killing most of them off was the best decision he has ever made, his real mistake was not finishing the job and killing the coolest guy and his shitty little brother.
